Its that time of year when boilers stop working; as my usual man was snowed under I found boilerbreakdown.com online to fix the combi boiler in our rented house. I looked for a review online and found 1 which said expensive but no comments on service so I booked an engineer.
The engineer phoned to let us know he was coming and arrived on time but it went down hill from there. Charging by the half hour he took 1.5 hours to diagnose 4 problems and left without fixing it.
Two weeks on they have yet to charge us or send in the report; clearly my landlord wants the invoice to clear the issue and the report so that he knows what to do about the boiler. what I can say is that given the delay there is no way we will be using them to fit a new boiler which our understanding landlord has now arranged.
So as well as their customer service sucking their prices are high at £47+vat per half hour.
I cannot recommend them on any level.
