Premium Increase after Make a Claim Not at Fault by Insurance Holder and this Comment is for Blue Badge Insurance Australia
I am currently holding a disability car insurance with Blue Badge Insurance Australia; I recently involved an accident with another car and the accident is NOT AT MY FAULT. I rang Blue Badge to report and try to make a claim (in other words I can't wait for another party to make a claim through their insurance) under my name. However, Blue Badge staff advised me that I have to paid excess upfront (and possibly get reimburse later when the claim approved and handshake with other insurance company) and also my next premium definitely will increase next year and the premium increase is based on the claim that you lodged (not CPI increase) with them (i.e. Blue Badge Insurance Australia) even the claim is NOT AT YOUR FAULT. WHY - WHY - WHY - Accident is not at my fault - Other car insurance like NRMA or AAMI do not have this funny policy, I was with them before and due to high jump in premium (long term member and no claim bonus for years) that make to run away from NRMA/AAMI.
