I took a simple test on their website…
I took a simple test on their website and was placed on a monthly subscription without my consent. After noticing the charges, I cancelled the subscription immediately and asked my bank to block any further payments. Since then, I have repeatedly requested that my account be deleted, but the company insists on receiving a copy of my ID and a utility bill before doing so. Highly unusual and very concerning.
This is a scam
This is a scam. I signed up for £1.95 test. Now they're taking £24.95 payment. Reporting it to the bank as a fraudulent transaction.
Estafa a maldad
This is a complete scam
This is a complete scam. They have taken 29 euro from my account for 5 months. No receipts, no way of contacting anyone without providing bank details. Will be getting legal advice. Predators
Upon request blossoup will not delete my account unless I provide sensitive data
Scam
Scam! Beware! Paid £1.50 for an online IQ test. There was no mention of a subscription. A few days later £25 taken from credit card. Have tried to cancel subscription and informed bank to block any further attempts at taking money.
Complete rip off
Complete rip off. But New Mexico as a state is horrible and lets skammers keep skamming. Blossumup has been doing this for a long time, and will continue to skam unless some agency puts a stop to it.
They want money for wasting your time
It's not 5 min. It's 30 and you have to pay in the end.
Spent 15 minutes answering survey…
Spent 15 minutes answering survey questions, before being told I had to pay to get the results. Suck it scammers!
There is only one answer to get right.
Every once in a while, i suck into these "IQ Tests" just to reassure myself that I'm not as dumb as I think I am. So I wasted maybe 20 minutes of my life and pretty soon they were rah - rahing me into how awesome I was doing. I figured maybe I was running 120 or so.
So I finish the "test." Get your score - only $1.99. My B.S. meter immediately clicked into high alert. Sure enough, not farther down the page I saw 29.99 monthly. I'll admit, I'm not that bright, but at that point in time (get a clue, time has no points but you get my drift) I RAN LIKE HELL.
There is only one question you have to answer correctly and that is when they ask you for a credit card number.
You know the right answer. ;)
if i could give lower stars i would.
if i could give lower stars i would.. it’s a scam.. when money started coming out of my account i realised and had to remember what it was sign in and try cancel. you can tell scams when they suddenly start charging you and make it very difficult to cancel. Ironic it’s an app about psychology. small little tests that are completely inaccurate based on simplistic data collection. whoever created this needs to be ashamed of themselves.
This is 100% a scam and can prove it
This is 100% a scam
#1, it's not free it cost $1.99 which is really 100's of $ because you cannot cancel it literally without going to your bank as they will not honor it.
#2 I had 2 other people take it and I took it on my computer the same test after taking it on my phone and you get the same statistics
A. You are doing faster than 87% of participants
B. top 6% in logic so far
C. Only 17% of participants answered this question corretly.
This is given to you to boost your confidence you are smarter than you "really are" increasing the chances you making the purchase after to get the results.
D. Trust pilot must have so many scammers posting or paid reveiws because they have absolutely terrible reviews on every other site. So Trustpilot ironically apparently cannot be trusted.
E. The AI overview shows that the site cannot be trusted then list out the reasons
Payment and subscription issues
The most common and severe complaints concern BlossomUp's billing tactics, which users describe as deceptive:
Misleading one-time fee: Customers report being charged a small, one-time fee (often $1.95) to see test results, only to discover they have unknowingly signed up for a recurring monthly subscription of around $29.95.
Hidden subscription: Users claim the recurring charges are buried in fine print or not clearly stated during checkout. The initial, low fee is seen as bait to trick people into the monthly plan.
Difficulty canceling: Many users report that canceling the subscription is extremely difficult, with unresponsive customer support and no visible "unsubscribe" button on the website.
Unauthorized charges: Multiple people have reported unauthorized charges appearing on their bank statements months after initially using the service. Some have resorted to canceling their credit cards to stop the billing.
Content quality and service
Reviewers also report that the actual product provides little value, stating that BlossomUp does not deliver on its promise of meaningful self-growth content.
Vague and generic content: The "in-depth reports" and "personalized tips" that users pay for are described as generic, vague, and unhelpful. Many feel the content could be found for free elsewhere online.
"Recycled" material: Several reviewers mention that the app's content feels like a "slideshow of clichés" or "recycled content" from social media.
Empty and underwhelming: Users feel the tests and quizzes are not meaningful or insightful and that the platform is just a "pretty shell of an app" with no substance behind the paywall.
This is a fake site with a generic "IQ test" not backed by any professionals or guarantee. Don't be a fool and give these crooks access to your debit or credit card. However,If you still want to show your LOW IQ and give them access to your $$$ then at least use a credit card because the chances of disputing it is 75% better in your favor.
It’s a scam
It’s a scam, do not use this company. Same issue as everyone it seems.
Complete con
When I completed a test online, I payed a small fee for the results. It was not made clear to me at all (and others it seems - you can read this online) that I was joining a subscription. Thankfully I check my bank accounts on a regular basis and saw the payment of £24.99 taken from my account by blossomup.
Intestingly also, when you go to cancel the subscription, one of the questions they ask is, where you "unaware of the subscription" so they obviously know it's a problem and they are still happy not to make it clearer.
I recommend you avoid them.
THIS COMPANY IS BOGUS
THIS COMPANY IS BOGUS. DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THEIR AD FOR A "FREE PSYCH TEST"! THEY WILL START CHARGING MONEY TO YOUR CREDIT CARD. HIGHLY UNETHICAL SOCIOPATHS! I TOOK THEIR FREE TEST AND STUPID ME, PAID THE $1.95 TO GET THE RESULTS. THEN THEY CHARGE MY CARD $29... i IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND BLOCKED THEIR 2ND DRAW. THEY ARE CROOKS! MY THERAPIST TOLD ME THEIR WACKO DIAGNOSIS WAS JUST THAT-WACKO!!!!!!
Misleading Scam
Their ad is completely misleading and should be banned. They advertise a free IQ test - yes it is free to do the test, but not to get the result. They should make it clear up front that you have to pay for the results as that would be most rational people's expectation. AVOID and report"
i was scammed out of 29.99
i was scammed out of 29.99. there are hidden subscription charges. evil company, stay away
They ask questions for half an hour or…
They ask questions for half an hour or more then ask for money before showing the results. They dont mention any money before asking all those questions and after you are kind of committed for spending so much time on answering.
I did not pay so i dont know if the rest is any good.
This is a scam
I just noticed that I have $40 monthly charges on my account from them for the last 6 months. I DID NOT sign up for anything and I can't get a hold of anyone.
DON’T BE FOOLED!
This is a company that uses the fine print in their agreement to get you to subscribe to their services. Only problem is you don’t know your subscribing. You think you’re paying $1.95 one time charge for some test results. Unfortunately, I did this just before I had lung cancer surgery and was not really aware that they were charging me until several months later when I had time to review my credit card statements. Their customer service department was unsatisfactory. They refused to refund me the money, even though I never used their services. it was $150 mistake.
