Ordered peonies through BloomNation for…

Ordered peonies through BloomNation for my wife’s birthday and paid extra for delivery before 9:00 AM. The florist called from an unknown number late at night but never emailed, so the order was not canceled. At 10:00 AM I learned the peonies were unusable. The shop promised an arrangement of equal quality, promised to send a photo first, and promised delivery before 11:00. No photo was sent and the flowers arrived after 11:30. The substitute included wilted roses and did not match the value we paid, which was close to $300 including rush.

I gave BloomNation multiple opportunities to make this right. They didn’t offer so much as a small discount — let alone a full credit. Instead, I was told I needed to “take it up with the florist,” even though my purchase was through BloomNation’s platform. That’s unacceptable.

This felt like a bait and switch and ruined a time-sensitive birthday surprise. This florist clearly does not value its customers, and BloomNation clearly does not vet or stand behind the businesses they allow to represent their brand. After this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding both.

If I could leave zero stars

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Cost me a bomb to have the privilege of receiving an incorrect order and none of my emails have been answered so we could sort the matter. I dealt for the first and last time with Sherry of Blue Violet in Thousand Oaks.

They stole my photo off my e-commerce…

They stole my photo off my e-commerce sight and using it on their site. They did not ask for my permission. I asked them to remove it and they have not complied. They are using photos of my arrangement they cannot even make.

Florists, be cautious: Avoid partnering with Bloomnation.

Bloomnation operates in an unprofessional manner, prioritizing profits over customer satisfaction. Their aggressive sales tactics pressure businesses to join their network and hastily sign contracts, but once onboarded, they neglect to support sales efforts or provide adequate marketing assistance. Despite our partnership lasting over six months, we experienced no transactions, prompting us to dispute charges with our credit card company. Only after halting payments did Bloomnation attempt to rectify the situation, but by then, it was too late. I strongly advise fellow florists against entering into contracts with Bloomnation. Unfortunately, I cannot provide insights into their day-to-day operations as our experience yielded zero sales through their platform.

False advertisement

As of February 2024.
Received 24 blooms, but paid for 25.
No communication on the date of delivery.
The blooms received were moulding.
I paid a premium rate for rotting goods.

Complaint made resulted in an offer for 20% discount on my next order...
There will not be a 'next order'.
This was obviously refused.
What about fixing the current problem, instead of touting for more business?
The contempt is 'off the charts'.
I have heard nothing back since they tried 'shrugging it off'.

False advertising: did not deliver what was advertised.
Responsibility appears to be shirked and 'bounced around'.
Very expensive for quality of product.

My opinion of this company is 'greedy and disingenuous'.
***Buyer beware!!!***

On a positive note, the flowers were delivered on the correct date, albeit late in the afternoon.

PS.
The 'card message app' on the website will print exactly as it appears on the app.
With that in mind, if you are struggling with 'spacing or new lines' on the 'card message app', that is precisely what to expect from this company.

To conclude:
I will not be placing orders with BloomNation in the future.
I will not recommend this company to anyone.
