Life-changing
I’ve been using the Blisstil Serenade for a week now and couldn’t be happier. It’s great to use both while standing upright or lying down. The sound quality is surprisingly good, the noise cancelation is very effective and the touch controls work really well. But what stands out the most is the comfort. I’m really puzzled by the few comments that complain about not being able to sleep with it. First, the cushion around the headhphones and neck adapt really well to the bed or pillow, so it feels really good to rest the head with the headphones on. Also, it leaves a lot of room for the ear, which means you never feel it being pressed. In sum, neck, ear and head stay really comfortable and relaxed all the time. I really recommend it for people that travel often and for people who like to whatch a movie or series in bed. It’s life-changing.

The most comfortable headphones to sleep in ✅ The foam construction is a big negative as after 2/3 months of use, they have a deep smell of ‘sleep’ (and sweat) and can only wash the cover ❎ The volume control does not go low enough ❎ There is no battery percentage indicator ❎ Feedback/interference in the speakers is annoying ❎ Ultimately have a very limited shelf life because of the odour!

Thanks for the detailed feedback, Paul! I'm really glad to hear you're finding the Serenade the most comfortable headphones to sleep in.
Regarding the foam and ear pads, they can actually be cleaned, just not machine washed! We cover this on page 24 of the user manual (link below). We recommend gently spot-cleaning the foam with a damp cloth and mild soap or detergent, then wiping it again with a clean damp cloth and repeating the process until you are satisfied.
For more persistent sweat odours, I'd also suggest using enzymatic cleaners specifically designed for sports equipment. These are formulated to break down the organic residues responsible for unpleasant odours. There are quite a few different formulations available, so I'd recommend choosing one and testing a small area first to see if it's compatible with the foam.
If you try this, just be careful to protect the earcup openings where the electronics are housed.
In both cases (soap or enzymatic cleaner) you'll need to air dry the foam after. You can place the headphones in front of a pedestal fan to help them air-dry faster. However do not apply any heat or leave the foam in direct sunlight.
Regarding the minimum volume, Serenade is actually capable of playing at significantly lower volumes than some phones allow through their standard volume controls.
For example, Samsung has an app called Sound Assistant, which provides more precise volume adjustments. Unfortunately, iPhones don't currently offer the same level of control through their standard volume settings.
Some customers have found that using apps such as Noisli (link at the bottom) works well. These allow you to play sounds such as white or brown noise and have their own volume sliders, letting you reduce the sound further than the iPhone's standard controls allow.
Alternatively, if you connect Serenade to your computer, you can use the volume controls within individual applications, such as YouTube, to bring the volume down even further.
Regarding the battery percentage, Serenade uses the built-in battery reporting features on iOS and Android, as explained on page 20 of the user manual.
On iPhone, simply add the Batteries widget to your Home Screen, and you'll be able to see Serenade's battery level. On Android, you can generally find it in your Bluetooth settings.
Regarding your point about the interface, I'm assuming you're referring to the controls being positioned inside the earcups. This was actually a deliberate design trade-off. We wanted to avoid placing buttons on the outside of the headphones, where they could be accidentally pressed against a pillow during sleep. That said, we understand this isn't ideal for everyone, and we'll continue working on making the controls and mode changes easier and more intuitive to use.

No more Dodge RAMS in my ears
I have been struggling with waking up too early because of the neighbors Dodge RAM starting up at 4:30 am. So much so that I've had to switch bedrooms in our house.
I was pretty desperate to find a solution, and I've tried a few of the in ear competitors which I've found to be hurting my ears and I've had to take them out during the night because of ear pain.
These headphones have totally been a game changer for me, I don't wake up anymore from our neighbors truck and I'm also waking up fewer times during the night. Thanks for the serande!
Also by the way... I saw someone mentioning the mask being good, I didn't think that it was a big deal. But the mask is actually REALLY good in combination with the headphones. Blocks out almost all light and is actually pretty comfortable.
What could be improved? I would like to see a pillow which improves side sleeping, it works OK for me but having a pillow designed for it would be great. Also, my ears do get kind of warm, don't know if it could be improved though but if you managed I'd be up for upgrading. Considering the positives with the headphones, the negatives does not change my thoughts on how I grade the product the slightest.
I've unfortunately had some issues with charging my headphones and I've been in contact with customer service. After a few emails back and forth they have sent a replacement unit. Took about a week to get settled, perfect!

Disapointed
I really don't get all the positive reviews. Seems fake. It's not comfortabele to sleep in at all. Maybe only if you sleep on your back. It's supposed to be comfortable for side sleepers but that is impossable even with the recommended pillow. It gives too much pressure on my cheekbone to the point it hurts. The noicecanceling is ok, but not top notch. No response from blisstil if you have any questions.

First, we'd like to reassure you that our reviews are genuine. We have more than 3,500 customers, and naturally, experiences vary. Many customers find Serenade very comfortable for side sleeping, but we also recognise that everyone's anatomy, sleeping position and pillow preferences are different.
Regarding side-sleeping comfort, have you had a chance to watch the videos on our support page?

The second video covers the different pillows that improve comfort when sleeping on your side.
It's also possible that the headphones are shifting slightly while you sleep, particularly if you have a smaller head, which could cause additional pressure on your cheekbone. The first video of the support page demonstrates how adjust the tightness and how to wear the included eye mask around Serenade. Both of these will help keep the headphones in place and prevent them from shifting during the night.
These adjustments can make quite a difference, although we also recognise that Serenade's ergonomics may simply not be suited to everyone's facial structure.
Regarding the noise cancellation, ANC performance depends on the type and frequency of noise you're trying to block. We have a simple ANC testing guide that can help you check whether your headphones are performing as expected.

For the best overall noise reduction, we generally recommend combining ANC with some low-volume background sound. Apps such as Noisli allow you to mix different sounds, including white and brown noise, at very low volumes to help mask remaining disturbances.

For particularly noise-sensitive sleepers, combining the Serenade with white noise and soft earplugs provides very strong noise reduction. Some of our customers jokingly refer to this as the "nuclear option"!
Regarding customer service, we found your message from August 20 asking how to tell whether ANC is active when your surroundings are quiet at night. We're sorry you never received a response to that question. The ANC testing guide linked above should help you verify that it's working correctly, even when there isn't much background noise to hear an obvious difference.
We've also been working on improving our customer service response times to make sure enquiries like yours are answered more promptly.

I don't even sleep and I still love it.
It improved my relationship with my partner. Whenever she is yapping I put them on and not hear a single word she says. She eventually gets exhausted and falls asleep. The product is also aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend 100%

A Game Changer for Long Flights
I’ve been really impressed with the Blisstil Serenade. I travel quite a lot and have always struggled to find headphones that are actually comfortable enough to sleep with, especially on long flights.
The noise cancelling works really well, the sound quality is great, and what surprised me most is how comfortable they are when lying down or trying to sleep in a seat. The neck support is also a really nice touch when travelling.
You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design and overall quality of the product. Definitely one of those products that I’ll be taking with me every time I travel from now on. Highly recommend!

Soft enough to sleep on my side
I can actually lie on these without my ear hurting, and once they’re on I basically can’t hear anything. Fit took a night to get used to, but I’d buy them again!

Before falling asleep, I love listening to music with my Sérénade. The sound is remarkably pure, perfectly balanced, rich, and crystal clear, without ever hurting the ear like traditional earphones do. It is pure bliss to feel so wrapped up and cocooned while enjoying flawless sound quality.
Previously, I used earplugs, but every morning I would wake up with sharp pain in my eardrums. I couldn't stand them anymore and was doomed to lie awake all night because of the noise.
Thank you so much to Sérénade and Blisstil: you have literally changed my life. My girlfriends ask me if I've had skin treatments for my face, but no! It's just that I'm finally sleeping well... The difference is bluffing!

I love these headphones
