I had a great experience ordering from blackbough!
First of all the customer service was so kind and QUICK. I messaged to ask about some details about my order(twice because I had lots of questions lol) an automated message came up first saying it might take up to 2 days to answer but they did within a couple of hours both times and they were very informative and kind.
My order also came very quickly. They state it ships within 2-5 days and I didn't believe it but 5 days since I ordered (2 days since it shipped out because i ordered during the weekend) my things came.
The quality of everything (swimsuits, hat and makeup bag) is SO GOOD. And it better be with that price but I didn't know what to expect. The swimsuit is the softest material I've ever felt on swimwear. As far as sizes go i would stick true to size and only order a different size if it states it runs large/small.

I wanted to write a review first of all because the whole experience was great and because I as a consumer would also like to know more before purchasing.

This was a great experience! I’ve never experienced customer service as fast and as kind as I have with this company. Not to mention that I’m absolutely in love with my bikini! I would recommend going a size or so higher in tops if you have a larger chest like I do. Will definitely be buying from them again! :)

I have been ordering blackbough swimwear for over a year now and I love the quality! the cheeky bottoms are my favorite and the material isn't clingy where it hugs you or digs in in alllll the wrong spots. I've also experienced nothing but great customer service from them as well. Highly recommend!

I usually get size small for my bottoms but I didn't realize that I lost weight. So when I got my order, it was too big on me. Good thing they allowed me to exchange it.

unbelievable quality. ive never felt swim as soft and sturdy as theirs! i have almost all their basics and lots of their beachwear. cute prints too 🩷

Insanely disappointed with this company's return policy, despite liking the prints and quality of the suits. As someone who has been on a weight loss journey for several years and dropped half of the amount of weight I've gained by now, I needed a new swimsuit this summer as my old one doesn't fit, but find getting the right fit is still very tricky -- especially since my chest is bigger than the rest of my body as well (so I'm never sure if I should buy an L or XL). Customer service is only offering me store credit, though I am fighting with them about it now. They're citing handling & processing costs as being the reason they can't do actual returns, but I honestly don't really care. I don't think any business that can't allow for a genuine return should be operating at all. I've also been unemployed for awhile, btw, despite trying my hardest to find new employment, so I had to dig into my savings to buy myself a new suit so I'd be able to swim this summer. A great lesson to this business is to never forget the stories behind the purchase of your items; we are real people spending our hard-earned money on you. Do not ever hold a person's money hostage, or you'll surely never see us return to purchase again. This whole thing really sours me on this company.

Update: I appreciate the response here. After going back on Trustpilot and copying & pasting other company responses to folks who had the same issue/frustration (where they ultimately gave that person a refund), I was able to convince support to refund me and they are offering to wave any additional processing fees. I really appreciate this, but I wish it didn't take me doing that and being super annoying to get that done. In general, no clothing company -- especially a swimsuit company of all things -- should only allow for store credit-based returns. Finding swimwear that fits you properly, especially if you are buying two separate pieces, is challenging for most people and may involve trial & error. Regardless of what processing costs you're dealing with, you should find a way to make genuine returns work for you; your customers depend on it and surely won't return if you continue pulling this.

I have spent a few hundred of dollars on swimsuits from this brand. And I don’t regret it one bit. After I first tried the brand over a year ago and never bought a swimsuit from another brand. Best quality and cutest pattern. I have a bigger chest and it’s hard to find good supportive swimsuits, especially online, but with their helpful customer service and their amazing swimsuits it was easy.

This was probably the best customer service experience I ever received. I have a euro trip coming up soon and I was recommended this brand by a friend and I also took her advice on sizing but I should have went with my gut and got small bottoms instead of xs. I got the shipment in like 3 days which was awesome.. I tried everything on and the material - wow perfection and the prints/styles are adorable. I was a little bummed because I felt the bottom fit but not the right fit I knew I should have done small. So I reached out to the company praying that they would like me do sn exchange. Mind you this was the day before the holiday and they were responding during the holiday as well. They were amazing and sent me a return label and did the exchange all in one day. Looks like I'm on track to receive my news one before my trip!! Thank you blackbough !!! My new fav swim brand!! Can't wait to wear you on the beaches of greece.

When I had a return issue they were all hands on deck helping me to easily fix my problem. The costumer service is impeccable

I have been ordering swim suits from this company for a while now and I am always impressed with the quality. I am always in the water when summer comes around and these suits hold up very well. I did have a concern about one of their suits but I reached out to them and the customer service was absolutely great, kind, and responded quickly. I definitely recommend this brand.

I haven’t received my bikinis yet, but I did have a little trouble with paying through PayPal and the customer service team assisted me super quickly and kindly! I had a couple questions about a price change and whoever helped me was super professional and responded in a very timely manner. I know if I need to reach out for anything again it’ll be a pleasant experience! Can’t wait to get my bikinis 👍

Bikini is amazing n so SOFTTT!!! Customer service is wonderful will be buying my bikinis only from here from now on. I also love supporting someone who started out in their bedroom and I’m glad it’s successful!

Honestly amazing experience. The suit is adorable. Vibrant colors, adorable style, super soft fabric. But the customer service is also above and beyond. I had to return my bottoms for a size up and they helped me through the whole process while also helping me find the best deals and ways to go about things. I will definitely be ordering again.

One of my bathing suits broke, I might’ve gotten too small of a size! I buy all my bathing suits from here and I’m glad I did because when my one broke, they answered my email so quick and were happy to offer a great solution for me!!! I love blackbough. The bathing suits are definitely worth the price because they are pretty high end, and all the patterns are just so so cute!
