Brilliant company very professional had my cls350cdi stage 1 remap wow goes like a stabbed rat James the installer was very knowledgeable and carried out the mapping in a couple of hours noticed the extra power straight away so thumbs up black code

I would just like to start and say this company is an absolute mess.

It’s a pyramid scam with extra steps. They have “Tailored” plans for all ranging from £xxxx-xxx the plan they tried to opt me in for was £600 a month for “unlimited” flies. This sounds amazing until you see their opening hours and if you work full time this is not for you regardless what they try to tell you.

Going back, I was sold the tool second hand I was told it was locked to black code etc etc, I was told they would release the tool to a new master. Did you know that if you buy a tool second hand it’s still tied to their T&Cs even though you didn’t agree to them, I’ve got email stating because the tool was bought second hand they wouldn’t help but if I had bought new it’s in their T&Cs to help you sell it? So the T&Cs apply as and when they want.

Over and above all if you can easily clear 4 remaps a month within mon-fri you will make approx £200 off the price of your tool so approx 10 months to be free and clear and making profit.

Obviously that being said if you can get 10-20 a month you’re laughing but in this saturated market I can tell you first hand it’s not that easy. Maybe 5 years ago i could smash 10-15 a week.

Oh and They block you on Facebook when you speak up haha. If you look you will see all the comments and none can be seen be aware a company that hides negative reviews isn’t worth the time of day.

I await an automated response from you programmed employees who don’t have a clue about cars. I should add I’ve had phone calls and emails to prove all this and stating they just sell the name and have no idea about the product.

Update they have with mine and as with many tried to report this for being none genuine these guys really are con men and woman please be aware

I've been running my Black Code re-mapping business for over a year now and wanted to write this review to give other people feedback on the opportunity to partner up with the brand.

I've previously worked with 3 other tuning businesses in past, but wasn't happy with the level of service / support or quality their re-maps.

First and foremost Black Code's maps are completely bespoke to my customers needs. The different between their custom re-maps and others is night and day.

I have a rolling road at our garage (which isn't necessary if you are starting mobile) so we get to actually test and measure the re-maps we get sent. Through our testing Black Code's custom maps consistently perform better than the other tuning companies we've worked with over the years.

Also the level of other services we can perform thanks to their software is really helpful. We can offer, stage 1-3 power maps, pops and bangs, DCT gear box remapping, lamda delete, vmax removal, stop start delete and loads of other add ons.

If you are looking for a proven tuning partner who has the years of experience and can provide you with the best back up and support in the industry, speak to Black Code. You won't be disappointed.

Finally, having the technical expertise and great results is one thing, but after using their marketing and sales resources the demand for our service has doubled. They have full step by step videos showing you exactly what you need to do to attract business locally.

I've been with black code as a dealer for about 6 months.

I was looking for something new when a friend referred me to an opportunity they had seen online.

I watched the online video and made a refundable £500 application to join. The whole experience from the beginning was great with no pressure at all.

I don't write reviews often, but after looking through the income i've generated I wanted to let other people know.

Obviously starting a business isn't easy, but the training and support has been excellent. Every part is broken down and I was able to setup my Website, landing pages, Facebook ads and booking system in less than a few days.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves cars, likes providing a quality service and wants to create a high profit business.

If you follow their system and are motivated to making this work there's a real opportunity for you

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE!!. They lead you to believe that the maps are "custom". However, they are just your standard "off the shelf" maps. Do not pay to become a dealer. If you are serious about re mapping vehicles then use professionals like Celtic Tuning or Regal Tuning, you will get far more for your money. This company is your typical high sales pitch company. Draw you in with all the promises in the world, and then once they have your money they are not interested. There are far better opportunities out there that will not rip you off.

Black Code have flagged this review as they do not believe I have had a genuine experience with them. So if anybody has doubts about this they can look up the court case details I had to take against them in November 2020. This claim was settled on 04 January 2021. The claim number was 175MC243, and was registered in the courts by the money claim online service. The name on the case was Bevan Davis v Master Automotive Group T/A Black Code Vehicle Remapping.
I had to bring this case against them because a re map of a customers car made the car undrivable. The vehicle lost all use of the accelerator. Black Code were not interested in resolving the issue. When I asked another company to examine the re map file they concluded that the map was of a poor standard, was completely wrong for the vehicle, and who ever had tried to adjust the file to make it work for the vehicle did not know what they were doing.
There are a number of court cases being prepared against Black Code currently (as of 26 March 2021) for other reasons, such as not refunding people who are not satisfied with them, or have changed their minds and no longer wish to be a dealer. Black Code's attitude is to just ignore these people and not refund them, even though the terms and conditions state that they would. This is also a breach of the distance selling rules, but they seem to ignore this fact too.
For clarification the map requested was for a stage 1 tune, with pop n bang with the soft limiter changed to 4500 rpm. A simple map in the tuning world. I also find it pathetic that you are running around contacting dealers to write positive reviews to try and justify your company.

We are a professional mercedes independent repair garage in Plymouth and need reliable, continuous support- this is where the team at black-code come in, they are an absolute god send to deal with, support is second to none, and there knowledge is outstanding. They assist us in making sure our customers get the best service and results possible. Black-code is simply excellent!

If I could give this company a 0-5 I would. It all started with a fancy webinar to lure me in. After I spoke with A guy that had a name like a unit of measurement. sold me the dream so off I went paid my 500 deposit and then my outstanding 2496 . What I quickly realised that this was all a lie after 3 days along with my mother going into hospital I made a decision to steer clear that with the health of my mum and the utter lies told that this wasn’t for me. Only to be told that a refund wasn’t an option only the cost of the tool would be refunded 1200 but actually an 1800 pound tool 🤷‍♂️. Anyway since the last week or so I’ve been ignored please steer clear especially the person named like a flower like a flower that grows in the grass . An utter disgrace of a company. Added 10th March I wasn’t eligible for a refund because I had started the training. Literally watched 5 videos out of about 40 and it was all add ons. Website fee, ClickFunnels, files, and even a course for being a trusted dealer. Was missold it and now the company is totally ignoring Me. Building a case with a local lawyer. Please please please steer clear, 22nd March it's funny how all these reviews are appearing on the same day hmmm I think it's the employees .

Replying to the review of black code I was only offered a refund for the tool I wasn’t offered any partial refund for the training you said I did . That is a complete bare faced lie . You should tell people all the costs associated and then you would have no one signing up to this awful service .

I have been a Black Code Dealer Associate for 3 months now. During this time I have received a huge amount of support from the Black Code team regarding any questions I’ve felt needed answering.
The training I received before heading out solo, explained the exact process needed to make sure I complete a remap on a customer’s vehicle safely and efficiently.

The software and equipment used to carry out the remaps are top of the range, giving myself and the customer a lot of confidence in delivering a high quality experience.

Overall, I am really happy and satisfied from working with Black code so far.

We've been offering the Black Code service for the past 4 years as an approved dealer. As a result we've been able to build a great business by offering the custom re-mapping service in our local area. After reviewing our account recently we are close to servicing 500 customers who have been delighted with the results. As a family run business we are thankful for our Partnership as the service is friendly, professional and always to the highest of standards. I'd recommend any business like ours partnering with Code for mutual success. We haven't looked back.

Overall very happy with the service provided by Black Code, I started a business in my local area that's really taken off with the package they provided for me. Full support given from the technical team which is nice after making an investment into something I didn't know much about to start with. Would recommend them to anyone looking at going into business themselves.

Amazing offer for what you get, as you grow you can add more and more to your company.

I had a bad experience with them so keep away from them. All what they saying in the training program is most of it a lie.
You have to pay £500 pounds to reserve a place for the training then you have to pay another £2500 pounds for the suitcase in which you get the software for remaps, an OBD car diagnostic tool which on Amazon cost £34 pounds and you get a car battery charger which on Amazon cost £64 pounds. So you pay a lot of money for all this tools and is not worth it. But of course they don’t tell you that. Also you will need a roll of cable and a card machine for payment but you have to buy this separately. Also they said that you don’t need IT skills and a performance phone, also a lie because you need both. Also they said that they will partner with you and help you to open your business ,another lie. After you finish the training it’s up to you to find customers to do remaps and also you have to pay them more money to get remaps. So to start this business you’ll need around £6000 pounds. When I realised that they not serious people I ask them to give back my money and they only refunded me half of the money saying that because I used the equipment already they can only give me half of the money. I only used it once. And many more problems I had with them. My advice to you is to avoid this company because they not serious people.
