Extremely disappointed with both the service and the customer service received from Bicester Caravan & Leisure.
My parents paid £65 + VAT for an external caravan wash. After collecting the caravan and driving it just a few minutes home, it was obvious that many external areas remained visibly dirty. The rooflight, windows, external vents, grab handles, trims and seals all still showed dirt, grime and algae.
When photographs were provided, the initial response focused on the fact that the caravan had not been booked in for a full valet. However, our complaint was never about the inside of lockers or a valet service – it was about the standard of the external wash that had been paid for.
A refund was refused on the basis that the wash had been “completed as requested”, despite the photographic evidence showing otherwise. When further clarification was sought, the complaint was dismissed because I was corresponding on behalf of my parents rather than being the customer myself.
The most disappointing aspect was not the poor wash, but the complete lack of willingness to engage with the concerns raised or address the photographic evidence provided. I’d go as far to say incredibly rude management.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service.
