I attended the Beyond the Palette experience at the National Gallery and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was engaging, insightful and genuinely fun from start to finish.

Lynne has a wonderful way of bringing paintings to life. Her descriptions were vivid, thoughtful and accessible without ever feeling academic or heavy. She struck the perfect balance between art history and storytelling, which kept everyone fully engaged throughout the tour.

A truly enriching and enjoyable cultural evening. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the National Gallery in a more intimate and memorable way.

Absolutely fantastic private tour at the National Gallery. Lynne brought so much heart, knowledge, and humour, the time flew by. Lynne is a great story teller and added real depth to the paintings without it ever feeling like a lecture, and even tailored the tour to a theme of my choosing. My brother messaged afterwards saying it was the best museum/gallery tour he’s ever experienced, and I felt the same. Highly recommend, I’d book again in a heartbeat.

Well!! It did what it said on the tin! An engaging and insightful romp through 40,000 years of humanity expressing itself through art and hairstyling! And then just as we’re all drawing to a close with laughter and new found knowledge, Lynne pulls us back to the very essence of the human condition and art with a poignant pairing of a Banksy with the world’s first discovered cave markings. 40,000 years of spinning on this planet and all we’re trying to do is just to leave a little mark to say ‘I was here’.

We hired Lynne for a private tour of the National Gallery with our visiting family, some of whom didn't have as much experience with art and galleries as we do. Lynne's breadth of knowledge, great sense of humor, and ability to sense what would land with our group made for an engaging experience for us all. She chose a well balanced set of works to focus on, including some even the experienced among us could learn from.

Whether you're an art aficionado or someone who wants to make art museum tours more interesting, we can't recommend Lynne enough! We also recommend her live performances, one of which we were able to see prior to this tour.

I booked Lynne for a family tour of Italian Renaissance art at the National Gallery. Lynne managed to captivate us all including our two twenty something sons who have shown no interest in art before. In one and a half hours she brought six paintings and their artists to life. Lynne is a great and very entertaining speaker. She is passionate and manages to revive our inner self artist potential. The way she runs her seminars is really addictive, we just want to know more about the artwork! We would definitely recommend you to attend one of her talks or tours.

We had an informative, fun filled romp through the National Gallery with Lynne.
We learned so much about the paintings that we would normally wander past. They were brought to life by her knowledge and great personality. Facts and fun at the same time. We will be sure to book another tour next time we visit London. It’s a must!

Lynne has the most entertaining delivery about art, mythology, and history; all melded together to make even the most Philistine of people appreciate her tours. She has a wide ranging art history knowledge which she brings to you either via (very reasonable) Zoom tours or, when we can visit galleries, she is also a delight in person!

What a fabulous Valentine's evening. Sounds cliche but Lynne brought everything to life it such a really brilliant way. I loved how Lynne made the evening interactive with a few multiple choice quiz questions thrown in for us which made it so much fun. Really great entertainment and I learnt so much about art - who knew?!! Definitely recommend Lynne and I most definitely will be doing another one of her events.

I loved the Valentine evening with Beyond the Palette. Lynne is so good at making the twists and turns of Greek Mythology easy and enjoyable to follow. I definitely feel more cultured after one of her sessions.

Lynne provided a really fun entertaining evening and I learnt a few things I did not know about art too! The evening, although virtual, really felt like a special occasion.
