I had such a positive experience with this driving school! I passed my test on the first try and I owe it to my instructor Dani! She was incredibly patience and never made me feel rushed or judged, even when I made mistakes. She made the whole experience feel less scary and gave me useful tools and advice to support my journey all the step of the way.

For anyone who’s nervous about learning to drive, I can’t recommend Dani and this school enough. They don’t just teach how to pass the test, but they help you feel comfortable, confident, and safe on the road.

If I had to say 3 words about my driving instructor and friend Mark, they’d have to be 3 action verbs because this man is on the ball.
I’d like to give a great warm thank you to Mark and Better for jet setting me towards a pass first go. I highly recommend this company for good quality training.

My daughter has just passed her test first time learning with John. I cannot recommend him enough, my daughter really enjoyed her lessons with him. John was very patient and a great communicator both on lessons and in between arranging times etc and answering my questions when I took my daughter out for extra practice. Highly recommend

Peter was my driving instructor and he has been amazing throughout all my lessons. He has been extremely understanding and supportive to how my slower processing affects my driving, and has really tailored our lessons to support my needs. He has been very punctual and constructive with my learning, and the environment during my lessons has really made me feel comfortable with driving to which I was slightly anxious about before. He is professional and I have made so much incredible progress with my driving from when I first started with him. I have passed my practical driving on my first attempt

Mark was a really relaxed and encouraging presence in the car, highly recommend!

My instructor mark was fantastic! He always made me feel calm, confident and in control, and the car had a lovely atmosphere that meant I wasn’t scared to make mistakes or take my time. Always punctual and thorough communication, with a willingness to fit around my free times. Passed first time with his instruction!

I had Mark teach me, he had a very clear and effective teaching style which helped me pass on my first try. He was also very supportive and personable which makes the lessons both helpful and enjoyable.

Learning to drive with John was a pleasure. He was my fourth instructor and by far the best I had. His kind, calm and patient nature really put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. He explained things brilliantly, always gave positive and constructive feedback and was very flexible. I couldn't fault him and am super pleased to have passed on my first attempt.

I must say i am very proud of myself and the way Mark Challis been with me . This is a very special day for me as i passed my driving exam . I believe i could’t develop this kind of skills if it wasant’ Mark. Thank you very much Mark. I wish you best in life . As for myself i would do my best to experience driving . 5 stars rating its not enough . 10 will be perfect !

Peter for me was fantastic and a very helpful instructor. Since I switched from manual to automatic, I had to get used to many differences and he made that very easy. He is very meticulous with his teaching and he has diagram and anagrams which not only make you test ready, but make your driving set for life. We always got a lot done in lessons and had a set structure which again was very helpful. He would also go out of working hours just before my test to make sure I was 100% ready which I really appreciated. Additionally he is very kind and talkative which means I was never afraid to make any mistakes. Overall I would highly reccomend

My daughter learnt to drive with John. He been brilliant. Got her thru her test first time. She very shy and felt comfortable with him. He explained things well and gave lots of extra help with videos to watch. He always very calm and this helps when nervous. Definitely recommend John and this driving school.

Mark Challis at Better Driving is a brilliant instructor! His lessons were always well-structured and incredibly effective. I felt myself improving with every session, and he made the whole learning process enjoyable. I couldn't recommend Better driving enough!

Dani was a brilliant instructor who helped me pass my driving test first time and I couldn’t be more grateful! She was clear in her instructions and always made me feel calm and confident behind the wheel. Every lesson was well structured and she would ask for my feedback at the end of every lesson, which she would then take into consideration when planning our next session. I really appreciated her thoughtful, supportive approach—highly recommend!
