Cannot thank Best Car Buyer enough. Sold my Audi A1 22 plate today. The process was so smooth and the customer service was fabulous. I spoke with Charlie in the office who gave me a quote and dealt with all the documentation. He was super efficient and professional but also really friendly. Asked for my car to be collected on a specific date which was organised and a lovely man called Calvin arrived to inspect and collect the car. Calvin’s customer service was exceptional from texting me the night before to tell me when he would arrive to filling up the water in my car. The whole process start to finish was under an hour. He also waited until the money had arrived in my bank. I got about £1000 more than if I had gone with another competitor.

Ignore any negative reviews as these will be people who have not been honest about the condition of their car when asking for a quote. As long as you are honest with them about the condition of the car they will honour their quote.

I had a great experience selling my car with Best Car Buyer. Charlie was very polite and professional and offered a great quote in line with my expectations, in contrast to CarWow, Motorway, WBAC and Auto Trader. Collection process was smooth and I liked the fact that the driver waited until the money was transferred to my account before driving away. It put my mind at ease!

did as he said and kept it simple. The main factor unlike other companies. As long as your 100% honest about your car , the price they offer is the price they pay. So they dont try to knock off money when they turn up. Its a perfect way of doing business . I would always trust them and always recommend them to any of my friends or family .

I just popped in to get a valuation, the young man Charlie was so helpful. He looked around the car and inside. Told us what documents we would need .. A few hours later rang us with a valuation and sent it through email.. two days later my car was sold and cash in bank within half a hour .. lovely helpful polite young man

After giving honest answers to a purchasing advisor of this company, I was given a more sensible price for my vehicle. When I dropped off my vehicle at a local garage, its representative was not critical of the condition of my car. He had a test drive and no question was asked. I was given the agreed price straightaway through bank transfer. A reasonably pleasant transaction.

Not the first time I’ve used BCB and won’t be the last. Price agreed and honoured, and once we agreed to move forward the car was collected the same day. Easy to deal with and a good price with no last minute haggling

We were very lucky to stumble across the bestcarbuyer website,not only did they give us the highest price for our car ( 2022 e 208 ) but the way James taylor dealt with the sale was truly amazing,he was very patient with all our queries and the whole process was so easy we were actually shocked when the car was picked up and the full amount quoted was paid straight into our bank.

Process started off great, I was given a good valuation online. However, once I provided some photos of the vehicle and service history all of a sudden the valuation dropped by £600. This was just because of a minor scuff on the body work. Then I was asked to provide photos of the service history and the v5 which I did. Once this was received I was told to send ID. What came next was a request for me to provide a purchase invoice from when I purchased the car . I was not too sure why this was necessary but again I provided the said documents. However, the invoice was not up to the companies standard as it was hand written and to my surprise they came back once again asking me to provide them with bank statements showing the funds going out of my account.

This was a step too far for me personally. I refused to provide personal information which is irrelevant when selling a car. The documents such as V5 and HPI with all my IDs show the vehicle is on my name and all that should be required. According to the manager Carl the invoice was invalid as it was not on letter-headed paper. In the real world when purchasing a vehicle from a private salesman you don’t always have get letter headed invoices. The invoice was sufficient for me when I purchased the car.

Don’t waste your time going with this company as it will be one thing after another. There was no transparency from the offset. As you can imagine the whole process has been long winded rather than the quick service they advertise on their website. I withdraw from the sale had I not no doubt they would be asking for further information perhaps my employment history and where I got my funds from.

This is the second car I’ve sold to best car buyer and the experience I’ve had has not changed. Everything is easy and as long as you have described the car correctly the price is the price. 100% recommend. A special mention to Charlie who was a pleasure to deal with.

We were selling my partner's car (a Mini Cooper Sport, 5 door) which had finance on it. This is the first time we've done it this way as have always traded in - but due to a new lease car arriving we couldn't do that. We tried some other "headline" co's and were horrified at some of the offers, given the car being in great condition with a good spec. We thought we're won with another "service" which was based on dealers bids which they started the bidding at a great figure (which we were really happy with), but the winning bid came in way way less and they were surprised when we turned them down! We tried Best Car Buyer on the off chance, spoke to Ian High who offered a good price to start off and thought this was going to go the same way, but no, sent him pics of the Mini, and there was no change to the value. Their assessor came out on Friday (13th no less) and confirmed condition etc with them (had actually suggested I was too honest with some scuffs lol), he had to send videos of car running etc, but all was good - this part took a bit longer than expected as the office was busy, but after a nervous wait for the office to call the assessor back, the value was confirmed as no change to original offer, I paid the small difference to them for the settlement value and within half an hour, they had sent confirmation of the bank transfer and the change of ownership via email. I was really nervous (as mentioned the first time doing this) and (after handing over the keys and V5) called the finance co, who confirmed funds had been rec'd. All in all a good experience, went smoother than expected, home visit was an hour and a half instead of 30 mins, but the assessor was a nice guy, really friendly and there was no haggling, tyre kicking or air being sucked through teeth. I would definitely consider using again when our other car will be replaced rather than trading in if it's a better price. Thanks again Ian High for all your help.
