Recently had my first ever surgery with Benenden and was very nervous, every member of staff was so kind and reassuring. My surgeon did a great job and my nurses were lovely. Had such a lovely private recovery room also and my partner could stay with me almost the entire time. Would 10000% recommend!

The 24/7 Mental Health Specialist is of poor quality at the time of writing (16th Apr 2026).
It's the only service I came here for. Only the second time I use it, I'm told the (24/7) service is busy right now, and that I may have to wait half an hour.
I'm then asked if I can just call back in an hour.
After calling back, I'm met with absolute silence or an immediate end to the call - same as others are saying. So they clearly aren't acting on feedback.
I will adjust my review rating in the future if the service improves.

Very good interaction

Easily booked a GP advisor the app. Plenty of appointments available and I was called punctually. The GP listened to my concerns and advised as appropriate.

I was going through a mental health crisis, the Dr who called me, was understanding, kind & infomative!

Being able to book a GP 90% of the time the same day, video or telephone and get a prescription if needed is worth the monthly money alone. GPs are very understanding and helpful. Better than my local surgery which is near impossible to get a hold of.
Even for advice this is an exceptional service.
My most recent experience I got an appointment on a Sunday spoke to a GP and had a prescription for a chest infection within 5 mins of the call.

Highly recommend.

Very easy to navigate

Benenden has always helped when I have had a problem including recent cataract surgery. The hospital is modern and well equipped and the staff very helpful. Very good value for money.

The treatment was very successful. Medical staff kind, polite and very efficient.

A ureogynae fitted me with a pessary which was way too big. It pushed into my bowel and I was blue-lighted in an ambulance from one NHS hospital to another to rectify the issue later that day. The hospital which helped said the care I received at Benenden was ‘criminal’. Horrendous experience, never felt pain like it! Wouldn’t go near gynaecology at Benenden ever again!

Beautiful, clean hospital. I didn’t have any surgery so can’t comment on the treatment although I am sure the care would be good.
However unless you are worried about something sinister and want quick reassurance I wouldn’t recommend. The treatment by the consultant was no different to that of the NHS. Didn’t really get anywhere & not the most friendliest experience either.
