I got in touch with Beet Community for the co-working space. The office area has everything you need - a desk, monitors, fast internet, air conditioning and a kitchen. During the day, I learned about the many activities that take place here (e.g. potluck dinners and excursions to sight-seeing areas or beaches) and decided to join one or the other. All the people I have me there where open and very friendly. I enjoyed my stay in Palermo much more than I had expected thanks to the lovely people of Beet Community.

Ho soggiornato una notte nella sede davanti all'orto botanico. L'appartamento era sporco (cucina, stoviglie, doccia, pavimenti, area esterna, oltre a mancare carta igienica e strofinacci), e ho preferito lasciare la casa la mattina successiva al mio arrivo avvertendo subito delle mie intenzioni.

La casa dal vivo è decisamente diversa da come appare nelle foto presenti sui social, che mostrano un posto incantato: purtroppo nella realtà le aree comuni sono molto trascurate.
Le recensioni che ho letto, tutte ottime, forse rispecchiano i diversi standard di cura e pulizia dell'utenza (è un posto pensato per nomadi digitali e l'ambiente è decisamente internazionale). Sconsiglio a chi cerca un luogo, anche spartano, ma che sia almeno pulito e curato; va bene per chi non si cura della pulizia.

La comunicazione col proprietario è stata fino a un certo momento buona, poiché ho avuto risposte tempestive, le scuse e la volontà di risolvere il problema (d'accordo con lui, ho comunque deciso di cambiare sistemazione per una mia maggiore tranquillità).
Ahimé ho dovuto ricredermi perché, come se non bastasse la brutta esperienza del soggiorno, mi hanno addebitato la notte, cosa che ho trovato di pessimo gusto, viste le condizioni dell'appartamento e il disagio avuto.

Peccato perché è da questi dettagli che si vedono correttezza, eleganza e soprattutto professionalità.

I had an incredible time at Beet Community! The atmosphere was so welcoming, and Marco and the team made everyone feel part of the community. I loved the trips, events, and community dinners—they were a fantastic way to meet locals and fellow travellers. The co-living apartment had everything I needed and was modern and nice! Both co-working spaces were ideal and allow for full concentration when I needed but also allowed for socialisation in my breaks! Both sites have an ideal central location so you have Palermo at your doorstep if you have time to step out in your lunch break for example to explore what the city has to offer! Truly a memorable experience!

One of the best Coliving’s I’ve been to!

Sono stato in struttura solo per un giorno perché avevo un impegno a Palermo e ne ho approfittato per utilizzare l’area di Coworking. Esperienza ottima, ci ritornerei sicuramente. Sicuramente il merito va a Marco e a tutta la sua squadra!

Beet was literally a home away from home. From the very first day, I felt completely at ease. The experience was so good that I ended up extending my stay for another 3 weeks, and even then, it was hard to leave.
The coliving is well organized and makes it easy to connect with the group. The weekly experiences, like the communal dinners and weekend excursions, bring together travelers, locals, and expats, helping you discover places that would be hard to find if you were traveling alone.
Marco is a great community leader — always kind, helpful, ready to sort out any situation, and to share the best local tips.

Thank you for making this such a special and unforgettable time.

My experience at BeetCommunity was amazing — so much so that I ended up extending my stay and had the chance to experience both the city coliving and the botanical park coliving.

In both locations, the room design was beautiful and created an environment that really inspired my creativity. I had a private bathroom and a shared kitchen in each space, and everything worked perfectly.

But the best part of my experience was the community itself. I met so many interesting and creative people, from fellow guests to locals from Palermo and other parts of Italy. Throughout the week, there were plenty of organized activities that made it easy to connect with others and discover the hidden corners of Sicily.

I’m truly happy I chose to stay at BeetCommunity, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Palermo is a treasure waiting to be explored — and there’s no better way to do it than surrounded by amazing people.

We found Beet and Marco through a simple Google search and booked our stay for 2 months based on the coworking space and a good understanding of the digital nomad lifestyle.

What we didn’t know was that the beet community is much more than just a place to stay. Marco organized things for us to do across Sicily and not to mention the weekly get-togethers with locals and other expats. The social aspect of this was what made our experience go from great to amazing!

Marco was a fantastic host, he took time to make sure we’re settled and he knows Palermo like the back of his hand. Food recommendations, activities and whatever else we managed to ask him was always spot on!

Everything was amazing during our 2 month stay, we actually ended up extending our stay to 3 months with Beet! We will be coming back and I 100% recommend that you give this gem a try!

This is without doubt the best co-living experience I have ever had.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious and have great Wifi.
All of which is far less important than the vibe: This is a real community, with great experiences and wonderful people who are all keen to connect, assist and generally make visitors' stays here memorable and fun. Will definitely be returning!

Amazing place to stay in Palermo! Fantastic location near the botanical garden, Villa Giulia park, the sea, Kalsa neighborhood, and the best arancina at Bar Touring. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with a beautiful, well-maintained garden featuring lovely lights and turtles! Marco is so welcoming and passionate about coliving, creating a great community with constant events and trips for both locals and travelers. Definitely returning if I’m in Palermo again!

The room was more spacious than expected, and Marco was a great and personable host. The weekly community dinners that included locals were a great way to connect with others outside those staying at the coliving. The location was also perfect; it was in a very walkable neighborhood with a grocery store only 2 blocks away and a short walk to the center with many restaurants and some cafes.

It felt so welcoming and natural to be there, truly becoming part of the community. Our time in Palermo was unforgettable—the activities we did, the amazing group, and the overall vibe made it so special. The apartment struck the perfect balance between comfort and connection, offering both privacy and great communal spaces to hang out. And Marco? He was an incredible host! I’m so glad we found this group and hope to see them again soon.

These guys are very organized and a lot of fun. Check them out!!! The rooms are very stylish and clean. Easy to access and the nice part of twin yet central. The big plus is the connections you get from being involved. AND there are lots of ways to become part of the group. Check them out !!!

We had a great time with the Beetcommunity!

Loved my stay with beet in Palermo. Marco is the nicest host and was super helpful with everything I needed. And the community is great. I really enjoyed the community dinners where travelers, nomads and locals meet, I immediately felt like I had new friends. The coworking space is quiet and spacious with everything I need to focus on work. And location is also super: very central but not too touristic! Already know I will come back soon and can recommend to anyone who wants to explore the city and loves to stay in community.

Ik heb van 1 oktober 2023 t/m 29 augustus 2024 gewoond in Palermo, bij de Beet-community van host/manager Marco. Ik heb een waanzinnige tijd beleefd, met prachtige momenten, activiteiten en leuke mensen. Naast dat ik een nieuwe Italiaanse familie heb (de beetcommunity), ben ik serieus aan het nadenken om in palermo/mondello te komen wonen. De balans die Sicilië kan geven in cultuur, eten, mensen, bezienswaardigheden is geweldig. Alles is op dit eiland en Palermo is een geweldige stad die elke dag leeft. Geen seconde spijt gehad van mijn avontuur, ik zou het zo weer doen als dat kon, per direct! Speciale dank aan manager/host Marco en zijn team! X Ritchie from Nederland.
