I had a great experience with Be Cool Refrigeration & Air-conditioning. My ice machine stopped working unexpectedly, and they responded quickly and professionally. The engineer arrived on time, diagnosed the issue straight away, and had everything up and running again in no time.

What really stood out was their honesty and clear communication—they explained the problem in simple terms and didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary. The service was efficient, reasonably priced, and very reliable.

I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing ice machine or refrigeration repairs. Will be using them again if needed

My Ice machine works fine but thought it might need a descaling for an upcoming busy summer. Called them to have descaling service for ice machine for £400+. They came in and do the descaling, but ice machine fails to work afterwards. They clearly broke my ice machine. Business fails to trade properly as a result of their failure. The “senior engineer” said that a few components are broken and needs replacement, this company gave a quotation of £900! Keeps repeating that the components were broken before descaling, but how could the components be broken when ice machine was working perfectly fine before descaling? How can this “senior engineer” be trusted with further works? And this is their one and only senior engineer for ice machine!

No compensation, no refunds,
no gratitude towards their failure, but asks for more money!

We lost thousands of pounds

I strongly advise caution when dealing with this company.

We contacted them to report a fault with our fridge and paid a £180 call-out fee. The engineer identified an issue with the fan and charged us an additional £390 for a follow-up visit and repair.

However, during the second visit, he then reported a new issue with the condenser. As a result, a new fan was installed in a fridge that still doesn’t work, leaving us £570 out of pocket and with no resolution.

I would like to believe the initial diagnosis was simply incorrect, but this experience has led me to question the company’s transparency and approach to customer service.

Despite several email exchanges, it became clear they were unwilling to take responsibility or make any genuine effort to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services.
