Gone in administration but not telling customers
Disasterous company ......communication over last year diabolical both phone and email. Main line permanently closed for 2-3 months but no one can explain why (managed to get through one of the surveyor's mobile) who said they are in administration. Wasted months chasing....disgusting!

A great bunch of guys and people working in office I have heard that they have gone into administration.
Good Standard of Work
The work itself was completed to a high standard, however the cavity filling material was all over the road outside and in our kitchen. The team completing the ventilation work left materials behind and the flooring in the loft wasn’t replaced. It felt like they did the job and ran. No complaints with the work itself though.
Good service
Everything was done smoothly and the work dates were in place soon after they have done all the checks for eligibility. Grateful for your service.

I am a council house tenant & haven’t had the best experiences with the tradespeople our local council provide.
I must say that my experience with Baxter Kelly has been the exception. They have fitted solar panels to the property.
They communicated continually throughout the process & stuck to time slots given. No one turned up unannounced &, as we are a busy working household, Baxter Kelly was very happy to work with us to make sure we were available to allow access to the property & garden. The tradespeople themselves were polite & respectful around the home. Keeping things clean & tidy & removing their shoes. They were easy to get along with & also explained every step of they way.
Thank you to all involved & especially to Neave as she was always at the end of a phone to answer any questions

Real nice geezer turned up telling how I was eligible for the gov grant. Another geezer turned up a few days later, taking photos, drilling hole and so on. Phone call to say approved and fist fit on 5/6/2025! no show. Second fit, loft and wall is tomorrow! I will let you know how it goes!.

Here again. 16/06/2025 the date of insulation and again a no show after taking time off and a dog minder. Just what sort of scam is this. Does this Company just collect info, claim the Gov grand and walk away. Does the Gov even check on these people or do the people in power own this Company. Makes you think, dont it!. 17/6/2025 after e-mails and phone calls plus text to every number I have,,, nothing. Poor sad scam little Company. If they call at your home give them the big F/O tablet. forwarded all info to my local MP and GOV, lets see what happens and who and what is behind this scam. Probably just another scam from the friends of GOV, you know, the rich that hates the working class, ie Labour.
ECO4 Scheme.
From the very beginning of my ECO4 Scheme experience Baxter Kelly Ltd have been fantastic from the office staff regarding my calls to the surveyors and everyone who worked on the installation at every stage of the project for me they were very polite and professional also they were very careful and a pleasure to have in my home.
I am extremely grateful for all the help that I had regarding this ECO4 Scheme.

I have been waiting for around 2 years…
I have been waiting for around 2 years for my ECO4 scheme to go through with horrific communication. We have absolutely no central heating or insulation and was promised amazing support. When you speak to someone they are lovely, however it is always a fight for communication and no work has started in over 18 months. Just holes drilled in the wall for one of their tests, therefore facing even more damp!
The Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Experienced
This company didn't have the decency to contact me after they established my claim for the Government sponsored boiler replacement scheme didn't qualify. Despite the fact that their salesman and their website both said I would qualify. After a month had elapsed I rang them to check on progress, only to be fobbed off and told someone would ring me back later. They never did. I only found out the truth when the salesman called back 2 months later because he happened to be on my estate that day, so at least he had some decency. The company itself is 100% focussed on receiving Government grant money, and 0% focussed on morals, common decency and customer service.

Sub contractors not up to the job fitting ASHP - cost £450 to run a month so I shut it down .
Site report condemned everything,
When Baxter Kelly found out what was happening we had a reinstall with no expense spared to put it right.
Mr Kelly approved payment of all my expenses.
I cannot fault Baxter Kelly in any way once they knew the situation, everything now done to MCS standards

They were great initially signing me up really helpful salesman who marked my application as urgent. Survey happened quickly too. Then silence.
Managed to get through to them today only to be told my property doesn't qualify. It won't go from an EPC of E to a B. It only needs to jump 2 bands to a C to receive ECO4 funding. I've just wasted 2 weeks. Plus I then learnt the lovely salesman has been made redundant...things obviously aren't going well there. I'd stay clear for the time being, its not worth the risk or hassle.

I cannot believe I am having to post an email I sent to Baxter Kelly on Review sites just to get a response.
Dear Baxter Kelly.
We have been waiting over a year for you to complete work in our house.
We now have no hot water and no heating. I have fibromyalgia and living in this state is worsening my condition.
We understand the funding issues that you have faced however, you have completely disregarded your existing customers who have unfinished work tied to you.
We now have another company waiting to complete the job that we now desperately need.
All they are waiting for is for you to confirm that you have not taken any payment from our ECO4 grant.
YES or NO?
As soon as this has been confirmed the work can be completed by the other company and we will be off your books.
I have contacted you on the following dates:
3rd September: Email.
Requesting if you have a completion date and if you intend on completing the work. NO RESPONSE.
October: Email.
Requesting a public access report. NO RESPONSE.
29th October:

Spoke to bookings. Email sent to department (?). WAITING FOR REPLY.

Spoke to customer services. Email sent upstairs(?). Response time stated will be this afternoon or early next week. WAITING FOR RESPONSE.
This is our last reach out to you to before we will be forced to start legal proceedings.
Please stop unnecessarily delaying the completion of the work. You have had plenty of opportunities to respond.
