I was recommended this firm by my little sister. My consultation went really well and I had a tone of evidence, I believe this is why I was offered no win no fee. The solicitor was so confident which was reassuring.
I didn’t hear back for months until just before the telephone hearing. Just before the hearing started, that’s when I finally received the notes only to discover they were so many errors. My solicitor was late to the telephone hearing, blamed it on the WiFi and couldn’t answer the judge’s questions as he submitted the claim late. All we could hear on the call was shuffling in the background as if he was looking for something.
After the call all he could complain about was how he was surprised that the other side had decided to hire a QC and complain about how they didn’t have the professional courtesy to tell/warn him.

No surprises that I had to settle out of court. The process wasn’t well explained and to be honest I often felt patronised until I got my sister on a conference call with the solicitor, then he was more willing to explain what happened.

If someone is in a position that they need a lawyer, something bad is happening. I wish you understood how all of this affects people’s mental health. I feel like I was set up. If you wanted more money you should have just said. I never even asked for a discount. You offered.
