Get ready for a million calls if you use bankrate. It does not let you compare rates on the site
This site does not actually let you compare rates from different lenders. What it does is give your contact info to every mortgage lender in the country to call you and discuss their rates. I have gotten over 60 calls/texts in the last 2 days from mortgage lenders. Of course you can compare rates if you talk to each company for an hour. Bankrate is a scam.

Rates were bait and switch
I like the tools you provide. Having a list of lenders is helpful, but all the rates shown were bait and switch buy down rates, not par rates. Not one of the lenders I talked with had anywhere near the same rate as was advertised.

It was great to see some interest rates but absolutely horrible to have the mortgage companies calling before I exited the website. Now they are constantly calling and being annoying.

I was asking for information about rates. The information was not sent. Now I am getting harassing calls from companies that want to sell their services. This should be made clear before asking for information from people inquiring about rates.

Bait and switch these lenders post interest rates to get you interested, then when you you go to next site the rates jump, what kind of switch just to get you sucked into their site. I call this Baiting the public or interested consumer then they switch. Disgusting. Then they have ALL your personal sensitive information.
