I would definitely recommend this Certificate Course in Interior Design.
I would definitely recommend this course. I decided to study the Certificate course in Interior Design as I had minimal knowledge and work full time. The flexibility of time to complete the assignments has supported my learning. The content of the course is very interesting with clear guidance to other learning materials to support. It is a well structured course with support available from a personal tutor.

Incredible support and great course content
I have recently started Higher National Diploma in Interior design as it has felt like the right time in life for a gear and route change after studies, settling and starting a family. My tutor has been incredibly supportive and helpful whilst I find my feet as a mature student with a lot on my plate, it has been challenging finding my student self again but I can not rate the whole process highly enough, the time taken as I decided which course to enrol on, getting started and very quick responses to any questions asked. also the feedback from assignment submissions has been incredibly helpful to my learning journey. The course content and supportive material provided offers great depth of information to refer back to whilst you complete the assignments set. I am hugely enjoying studying with BAID and feel confident that I will graduate with great depth of knowledge and experience.

Having been disappointed by an online
interior design course I had previously completed, I was looking for an institution that offered a quality, higher education course. The materials provided online are rich and of high quality; the tutors are experienced, supportive professionals available whenever you may need them. My tutor, Rita, always provides prompt and thoughtful feedback. The amount of time needed to take full advantage of the materials provided and to complete the course should not be underestimated. It is wise to seek advice from the school when choosing the right course for your needs. Many students are surprised at how demanding the course can be, but it is reassuring to know that quality, industry standards are expected.

Higher National Diploma at BAID
I signed up for the Higher National Diploma (online study) with BAID in January 2024 and so far I am loving the course!
The course content is very interesting and comprehensive. For somebody with no design or artistic background like me I think it is very well explained. The assignment briefs are similar to real-life scenarios and what you would be expected to do as an interior designer, which is quite exciting. For support with the online study, you can use the school forums or message your course tutor directly. In both cases, you get an answer to your query in a timely manner. I know my tutor Rita is available for support or if I have a question so I never feel left alone.
The HND is quite time consuming (especially if working full time) but I feel it is definitely worth it and I would recommend this course to anyone who would like to get into an interior design career!

I appreciate that the course tutors and always on hand to help with any questions I may have and they respond in a timely manner. I also like how the home study course is laid out, it is very detailed. I would suggest for the home study course that examples of the submission could be given for at least one assignment in each unit. Overall so far I am enjoying the experience

Tutor's feedback on assignment
I appreciate the timely feedback of tutors after submitting assignments. While, very often, the feedback received is composed of text modules which - in my opinion - are more general and therefore do not always provide actionable advice on how to improve the assignment, the tutors can be approached with specific questions and their responses are then very helpful.

I have been on the Postgraduate Diploma…
I have been on the Postgraduate Diploma course since 2020.
At the beginning of the course I found the Assignment questions and criteria quite vague and course tutors were assigned to mark my work fairly sporadically. However, in the last couple of years whilst also working in the industry I have benefited a lot from what I have learnt on the course and I feel the institution have made a real effort to improve the quality of their tutors and their course material.
The Assignments are very detailed and ask a lot of you but as a result you get an in depth understanding of the industry as well as learning design software and principles and exercising your creative flair.
It's taken me four years to complete the Diploma as I have been working full time alongside it but I was able to extend by a year very easily for a small fee.
I would recommend this course but you need to have great self motivation and willing to apply many hours to your assignments.

BAID Diploma Course
I am currently studying a Diploma Course (I am not far off completing) in Interior Design with BAID and have to say I am thoroughly enjoying it. This course is brilliant for anyone who is interested in interior design. The assignments are a good mix of practical and theoretical, which I personally think is great because both are equally important in gaining well-rounded knowledge and skill sets. The course has taken me a while to get to near completion, but I have found the tutors are always on hand to provide their support and answer any questions I have. My experience with BAID (the tutors/student service) has been extremely positive and would recommend them to anyone.

Great instructors and staff
Very helpful instructors and student service. I had no problem with getting detailed help from them. Although the course is quite difficult and time-consuming, I feel I have learnt a lot from their instructions and the assignments. I could easily build a portfolio from finishing their assignments. One suggestion: I think that sometimes the assignment briefs could be clearer, which can lead us to getting better grades.

ONLINE STUDY
I am enjoying the course so far, initially I found it very hard to get motivated with having to do it online due to my personal circumstances. The course instructions could be much clearer on what they expect of you. I found that the first assignment wasn't tailored so much for a person who has never done anything in design at all (technical phrases etc.)
The tutors have been very attentive and helpful. What would make it 80% better would probably be to have a course that allows work from home and a video class combined. I have spoken to numerous students and they all say they find it hard to know exactly what is expected of them. I think that the added lesson online would allow students to ask questions and gather all the information they need to be prepared throughout the course.

Impressive Course Structure and Tutor Support, Feedback Timing Could Improve
I enrolled in the course just two months ago and have been thoroughly impressed with the course structure and the excellent support provided by my course tutor, Rita. The materials are well-organized, making it easy to follow along and grasp the concepts. Rita's support has been outstanding, with prompt responses to any questions or concerns I've had. However, my only gripe is with the feedback timeframe. Waiting 14 days for formative feedback and another 14 days for the final result for each assignment feels a bit lengthy. Expediting the feedback process would greatly enhance the learning experience. Despite this, I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in Interior design.
