Great location, comfortable accomodations, quick support when needed, and easy check-in and check-out!

Place was fantastic for the four adults in our group. Clean, cold air, great kitchen space, comfy beds, and great shower water pressure in our place at Costa Del Ray. Washer and dryer was nice to have in the room also. The dryer kept shutting off and wouldn't stay running. I let the owners know. Pretty sure the vent hose that goes outside needs to be cleaned out. But rather than that, place is great.

Beautiful home! Great experience. Had a wonderful time with our family on the lake. Just pack your clothes and bring your food.

The home owner and local management were very helpful when needed which wasn’t much more than answering my questions. Most likely we didn’t need much contact because they had everything we needed in the house as well as the house being well kept. The pool, hot tub and gym surrounded by the beautiful mountains made for great moments during our trip. Oahu was very beautiful and having a great place to stay was icing on the cake.

Very nice house and had a great time. Nice size pool and everyone had there own space. Close to everything, shopping and things to do. Very clean, wish they would have had like corn hole game for adults to do at the house. Would go there again.

The place was beautiful, scenic and peaceful. The guest house was clean, comfortable and very well outfitted. I am so happy I stayed here.

The place was wonderful. Very close to town and nice large garage. Loved having separate bathrooms for each couple. The only issues we had were the fan in the second upstairs bathroom didn’t work and the steam from the shower set off the smoke alarm. Also, the mattress in the 2nd bedroom needs to be replaced as it was very uncomfortable and broken down. Overall. It was absolutely lovely!

The room was very nice and clean. Great views from the top floor and it was spacious enough for me, my wife, and our 8 kids.

The house was beautiful, has all the necessary conveniences and is very close to town. Certainly could walk to town depending on the weather. Amazing playground / home for families with children- they could be entertained for days inside or out. Plenty of room, nice hiking and biking trails. Lots of wildlife! Our families had a great time!

I would strongly caution anyone booking with AvantStay, especially for a group or event.

I had a confirmed reservation and had already paid over $5,000 for a property in Nashville for a business mastermind I am hosting in July. This was not a casual stay, it was a multi-day event with speakers, logistics, and attendees tied to the property.

I only found out that my property was no longer available because I reached out to them to schedule a walkthrough. There was no proactive communication, no phone call, and no urgency on their end.

After multiple calls (which went unanswered) and follow-up emails, I was informed that they are “no longer hosting reservations” at the property I booked.

They then offered alternative properties that were not comparable. The original property functioned as both a venue and accommodations, while the replacements were simply places to sleep with no ability to host an event.

To make matters worse, they have continued to handle this primarily over email despite repeated requests for a phone call, which is unacceptable given the scale and impact of this issue.

At this point, three months before my event, I am now forced to find both a new venue and separate accommodations, which was not part of the original plan or budget.

This experience has created significant stress, additional costs, and unnecessary disruption.

If you are booking anything important, especially a group stay or event. I would strongly reconsider using AvantStay.

Thank you for the response. To clarify, the primary issue was not simply that the property became unavailable; it was the lack of proactive communication.

I was only informed after I reached out myself to schedule a walkthrough, despite already having a confirmed reservation and payment made. Prior to that, I had attempted multiple calls and follow-ups without a response.

Additionally, this was not a standard stay. The property was selected specifically to serve as both a venue and accommodations for a multi-day business event. The alternative properties provided did not meet those requirements, which significantly impacted planning just 90 days out.

While I understand that circumstances can change, timely and proactive communication is critical especially for bookings tied to business operations and group events.

I appreciate the refund being issued and hope this feedback helps improve how similar situations are handled in the future.

The home is in the PERFECT location for quick beach access and Red Bar. Beautiful home with the beach's best front porch!

We had a very memorable experience booking through Avantstay and with their customer service. They went above and beyond to find a place for our family of 11 when our original booking cancelled on us. They found us a new beautiful spot that ended up being better for our family. They went above and beyond making sure all of our needs were met, even texting us to see if there was anything we needed! They had the cleaning crew come back, brought us a new coffee pot, frother, and pool company to heat the pool all in the first day. They also brought us a beautiful basket with sweet gifts to make our stay even more special! We will definitely rebook through this company! Thank you for making our family feel at home!

10/10. We loved the home and can’t wait to be back! The location is perfect and close to the beach. Beautiful and clean home with great amenities! We loved the screened in porch and pool while our baby was napping. Communication with the management team was excellent. There was a lack of cleaning supplies, but once I mentioned it, the management team dropped off cleaning supplies and it was amazing! It would also be great if the house provided beach gear and baby gear like beach chairs, umbrella, crib, high chair etc since it’s so close to the beach so we didn’t have to rent them, but it’s not a deal breaker. We loved The Tipsy Mermaid and would love to make this our annual family vacation home base! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

I had a fantastic experience overall with AvantStay. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The check-in process was smooth, and everything felt very organized and professional. The space itself was comfortable and made for a really enjoyable stay.

The only downside was that even with the windows fully closed, there was a noticeable cigarette smell coming in from outside, likely from a neighboring unit. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it was definitely noticeable at times.

Aside from that minor issue, everything else exceeded expectations. I would still recommend AvantStay and would 100% book with them again.

Avantstay is professional and extraordinary. First the communication was consistent and timely. We were provided all the information needed to enjoy the property. Made everything simple and stress free. Secondly the property was immaculate and fully functional. Zero issues with anything during our stay. You can confidently trust AvantStay with your tine away from home and we will most certainly stay with them again.
