DODGY!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!!
Misleading website. Not Australian quality or based in Melbourne. I’ve been completely ripped off. The leather bag is not leather and the shoes are not orthopaedic. Quality is nasty. You can’t return unless you pay to return to warehouse in China. I was offered 70% store credit or partial refund that still hasn’t happened. Absolutely disgusted. Shipping took more than a month too.

I purchased a pair of “orthopedic” sandals from Aura Straya, based on the pictures on their website and their returns policy that said that refunds are possible within 30 days. I faced a number of issues:
1. The sandals took weeks to arrive.
2. The sandals were not packed in a box but in a plastic bag so the sandals arrived bent out of shape.
3. The sandals are very poorly made. The straps across the toes are at varying lengths so they do not fall smoothly. There is no was I can wear them
4. There is nothing orthopaedic about the sandals.
5. The website claimed they were based in Melbourne, but the products arrived from overseas. This only became evident when I tried to return the sandals and was informed that I would need to send them back to an overseas warehouse at my own expense for a refund after they have inspected the product. Why would I spend additional money on this and risk not getting my refund.

I recently purchased a pair of orthopedic sandals and orthopedic sneakers from Aura Straya, drawn in by their claims of comfort and support. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating and disappointing.

First, the sizing was completely off. Despite ordering size 41 / AU10—my usual size range of 9 to 10—both pairs were a full size too small. To make matters worse, the shoes did not provide any of the advertised orthopedic support.

Adding to the frustration, the business’s website claimed they were based in Melbourne, but the products arrived from overseas. This only became evident when I tried to return them and was informed that I would need to send them back to an overseas warehouse at my own expense for a 100% refund. Alternatively, I could choose:

70% store credit and keep the shoes.
30% refund and keep the shoes.
These options feel restrictive and unfair, especially given that the issues were due to misleading advertising and incorrect sizing.

I regret this purchase and would caution others to double-check the legitimacy of claims before buying. A clearer return policy and transparency about their operations would go a long way in improving the customer experience.

Oh BTW, It seems one of the recent reviews left a 5-star rating but the accompanying feedback indicates dissatisfaction, suggesting they may have intended to click 1 star instead. This discrepancy is worth clarifying to ensure the rating accurately reflects the customer's experience.

Bought a pair of Savannah sandals and the strap broke after wearing 4 times. Tried to get onto aura-straya and could not reach them through their website. Claimed they were in Melbourne but clearly not. Tried to reach also through details on afterpay to no avail. Save your money. No customr service

Do not buy from this company!
Took weeks to send my order and only sent it after putting in a distube with Afterpay.
Finally received my order and it was such poor quality! (Came from overseas though their website stated they are in Melbourne)
To send items back you need to contact them via email and they never respond back, so now I’m stuck with something I can’t use and out $140.

Misleading website. Extremely inaccurate description about shoes that were nothing like what was advertised. The website says “Melbourne “ and they were shipped from China and compete rubbish. Description said “orthopaedic with arch support “ and they are the simplest cheapest made shoes . Cost to China to return falls on customer so unsustainable return. STAY AWAY.

Have yet to receive my order from early November, have email regarding order with no response. My tracking said it is waiting to be delivered.
This order was supposed to be a Christmas gift ???

I ordered a leather handbag. Tracking was provided and kept updated. It took a little longer than I expected as it was during Christmas and Black Friday sales so probably explains it. The quality is good and the strap is comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase thankyou.
