I sent a global money transfer on March 26. I've sent them before without problems to the same person, usually arriving on the next business day. Now, my recipient hasn't received the transfer, it's April 8th now. ATB has put a trace on it, but has no answers for me as to where it is. ATB won't refund my money while they look for it. Very frustrating.

Do not use this institution. They charge for every transaction AND charge for unlimited transactions. They block transfers at their discretion then lie about blocking the transaction. When confronted they demand details about the purpose of the transaction. Totally criminal organization and will steal every cent as they see fit without allowing you access to your funds. Will not allow me to remove my money from my account. Nearly $10,000 they will not allow me to transfer out of so I can close my account. Worst experience I've ever endured.

Fraudulent transactions on my account will not be returned as a 2 factor verification was used!! FRAUDULENTLY. My credit card was also compromised the same day although different financial Institute and credited back no questions asked. ATB needs to do better on these situations. Basically advised to remove tap off my card and lower limit for online/POS transactions.. ridiculous how we have to do these things just to protect our money. These scammers are ridiculous and we pay the price for it. ATB knows exactly how these things happen yet have no intention of protecting their customer. Was provided some good information from the customer service rep. I spoke with, however it doesn’t solve my problem.

Wait online for an hour for the next fellow Albertan, and when they do answer it is, "Hello, this is Grrbdgbetete, can I help you?" My account was compromised and the girl said I had to wait for it to post, but don't worry that they would reverse any NSF fees until then. 16 days later, the fraud charge posted and no one wrote a note about NSF reversal., so they took half my money anyways. ADIOS ATB!!!

I had money in what I thought was a savings account was informed it was in an account that I could not withdraw money the same day so I was told to go home and wait up to 5 days they gave me a phone number to call when I got home i phoned while in the bank and was told if I come in the next afternoon I would get it I waited the day went in and was told I still can’t get the money— the service I got was not helpful as an 83 year old I expect a bank to keep their word it was not huge withdrawal by today’s standard plus it was not going to be given to me in cash but by check which is another 5 days before it would be cleared , even talking with the bank manager I was told to go home and come back tomorrow— so beware of any investment you make with this bank they hold your money hostage plus they lie

Every time when I call them they never listen and start arguing, never help with unknown transaction even I show them proof, They charge me for stop payments but never stop any payment It happens three times

Account was compromised.Wasctold nothing they could do about it, even though transaction shows where money went . Have the fake Atb phone line . The fake atb texts. To top it off I have tried 3 times to get the account closed and its still frickin open . Piss poor performance Manning ATB. THEY DONT CARE -BUT SERVUS CREDIT UNION DOES.

Someone deposited my one time issue cheque multiple times and ATB system didn’t detect the fraud and cleared the same cheque multiple times. ATB is now refusing me money back to my account.

Constantly down for repairs or some technical issues. You can never do online banking when you need to. Absolute garbage of a bank!

Close my business account without any notice. ATB did not call, send an email, or a send a mail to say that they are closing my business account. They just went ahead and do so!!! I would not recommend this company to any human being. I searched my call log and email top to bottom and found zero proof of their efforts to contact me! I have a TSFA account and they shut it down!! Stay away from this nightmare of a bank. Customer service is not the greatest either.

My computer is giving me an error when I try to log into Atb. I’ve had this issue since 11 December and absolutely no one at the Atb will help. It appears that the problem is with Wi-Fi. They’re saying not their problem and they won’t fix, they problem is with my computer as it longs on to ATB using another netwitk . My computer has been checked. Their service is dreadful. That included there app which says to call them. I can’t be the only person with their problem. Time to try a new bank. Sad for the province

Business account was fraudulently drained of $thousands. Evasive & dismissive answers from staff to all questions about getting to the bottom of the issue. No accountability, only excuses.

Everyday the buss passes by me without stopping, regardless of the winter season or the reflective clothing.
IM SURE THAT some of the drivers are pasive agressive racist and they often leave people on the buss stops ,just because they look different.
Dont buy tickets for ATB

We were getting a new mortgage and were told an insurance binder is a legal requirement of the mortgage. However, they released the mortgage without proof of this insurance binder? After losing our home we find out about this. It is now with lawyers but I just want to let people know so their family isn’t in the same stress. The lack of professionalism and ownership is scary.

J'ai fait un placement dans cette banque, avec le chef d'agence, j'ai signé un contrat pour une durée de 1 ans pour un taux fixe bien précis. J'ai encore le contrat signé par les deux parties.
En regardant mon compte sur le net un mois après j'ai constaté que le chef d'agence a changé la durée en mettant 3 mois.
J'ai contacté le responsable qui m'a répondu que la banque à changé d'avis.
Dès lors j'ai demandé de retirer mon argent à l'échéance.
Après 3 mois j'ai constaté que le montant est versé sur mon compte, je me suis rendu à la banque pour récupérer mon argent, à mon grand étonnement le caissier m'annonce que je dispose seulement de la moitié de mes avoirs, l'autre moitié à disparue.
Une semaine après le chef d'agence m'annonce qu'il à placé ce montant pour 3 mois, sans mon accord, ni ma signature ni aucune convention et le montant ne figure toujours pas sur mon compte.
J'ai déposé une plainte au siège, j'ai contacté un avocat, et le cirque a duré un mois avant je puisse récupérer mon argent, c'était vraiment un hold-up.
Je voulais juste vous donner un conseil ne placer pas votre argent dans cette agence, son chef est un escroc. Monteur et malhonnête.

Abusive and disrespectful customer service. Long wait times, incompetent reps, no solutions. If companies cared about their customers they would not make you wait for hours, waste your time and then offer no solutions. These companies are pathetic.

I just want to say thank you all for your review input. I was getting ready to open an account with ATB but these reviews definitely steered me away from that idea.

I wish I could give a zero for the Ellerslie branch. Ask your self how scammers are able to spend 3000 dollars at a dollarama. And on the same day allow scammers to pull 2 thousand dollars out of and ATB machine. When you have a 500 dollar limit. Then your yelled at to take it up with the RCMP in the main business area by a manager.

I was fraudulently charged $235 from Amazon and this bank refused to give me my money back. They say they have fraud protection but they clearly do not. The only reason they get two stars is because their mortgage department did an exceptional job helping us.

I finally got through to Janine today as I was directed by AI because I needed to verify something in my accounts, and she spoke clearly and helped me 100% I was grateful for that!
Now as far as not being able to speak with our local bank agents that's another story.
The wait time on these calls are bad!
You are replacing people with computers which feels cold and undervalued.
Janine made me feel better 100% but the whole banking AI thing is something I have a hard time with.
I don't do online banking because I don't trust it.
