I broke two (imported) designer canes, because they did not support my weight. Nothing against them, they were attractive, they just weren’t sturdy. Then my wife found Asterom. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and sturdiness of the designer cane that I received yesterday. What is more, I am extremely gratified to be able to support Ukrainian industry in this manner.

I recently purchased the carved raven cane and it is absolutely beautiful. I was so impressed that I wrote to the company to tell them how much I liked my cane. I revived a warm message back from the owner, Oleg. It truly is a family business and they make works of art.

Ordering was easy thought the website . I was able to customize to my height and color of wood. This is a quality product. I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered two canes from Asterom a couple of months ago, I ordered the cherry and walnut (I keep one in the car so I never forget my cane). The canes are well made, lightweight and sturdy. I did have to cut off about two inches to get them to the right height. A couple of weeks ago I ordered the skull handle, and two epoxy handles (Ruby and Sea Wave) the handles are stunning. I'm a disabled veteran and having a good cane is very important for me. The canes I purchased are perfect and I will be ordering from Asterom again when I need new canes down the road. Oleg helped me with ordering the handles and responded quickly to my emails. If you're looking for a cane, give Asterom a try they won't disappoint you.

I've got two cane handles and a cane shaft from this company. The craftsmanship is outstanding and the canes are attention getters. Highly recommend.

I will soon have 3 Asterom walking canes. The first was a cherry stain with a Derby (saddle) handle. It is beautiful but also very helpful for my back problems. I bought a second one, a caramel stain to try an ergonomic grip. I like the Derby handle much better, so I ordered a gold epoxy Derby handle (no cane) directly from Asterom. It is custom made and will be arriving from Ukraine. It should look nice with the caramel stain. Lastly, I just ordered a Walnut stain with a Derby handle. This I bought unused for half the usual price on eBay.
While surfing eBay, I came across another company that claims to sell Asterom canes, but they are made in India and the picture shows a very crude product. As always, be careful if ordering from eBay. Asterom does not have an eBay store, but there are dozens of unused ones listed, none by Asterom. Many are overpriced.
The Amazon store has a number of the custom carved handles, and you can get more from Asterom directly. If you don't mind waiting, Asterom will personalize your handle with your name or a phrase. For an already made cane, Amazon has the best prices.
I don't dress for fashion, but the Derby cane in dark colors does not attract attention. It looks like a needed tool rather than a fancy affectation.
The canes are solid oak, but don't feel much heavier than the aluminum drug store canes. Very solid feeling and don't feel like they will collapse if I put weight on them.
People have noted that the handles may chip easily if dropped or have fallen over. So far, I have not had that problem.
According to the Asterom charts, I should need a 34 inch cane. After trying it out, I cut 2 inches off the end and it works much. I treated the cut end and the whole cane with beeswax based furniture polish. After wiping the excess off, let stand overnight and wipe again with a dry cloth. If you use it right away, it has a bit of an oily feel and might get on your clothes. After sitting overnight and wiping again, there is no such feel.

Have done business with Asterom since 2019. They always delived an exceptional product at a price less than quality like this can be found anywhere. I had a problem that way MY fault. They sent me the corrected part to me at no cost. Delivery from Ukraine even with their ongoing war has bee remarkable. RECOMMENDED!

I had purchased an Asterom walking stick for my father for Christmas and loved the quality so much that I purchased a couple for myself. I could not decide which handle I liked, so I purchased a few. The Items were delivered to my home in Canada much sooner than I would have thought, and was very well packaged. Each cane and handle individually wrapped and all bundled together so that there was no movement to scuff or damage.

These walking sticks are works of art, but more so, they are practical and functional for everyday use. They are sturdy, well built and very nicely balanced. Their beauty is an added bonus!

I ordered a cane for my husband as a Christmas gift; we have used Asterom Canes in the past and the cane he received was no different than the previous ones; beautiful with great craftsmanship. My husband wanted something engraved on the handle and Oleg was very accommodating, engraving the exact verbiage he wanted. I purchased my second cane from Asterom because of their commitment to workmanship and quality, you don’t find that in a lot of products these days. I have both the Nutcracker and the ergonomic walking cane with the Derby style handle, both are flawless in fit and finish. No rough spots and the staining on the finish is smooth and even. Before I bought these I had reached out to Oleg earlier and was surprised to have a kind response the next day. I switch off using one or the other and have been complemented on how handsome they looked. I pointed them in Asteroms direction on Google and also on Amazon. I have a couple of degenerative discs in my back that act up so these are perfect for me. They would also do a good job when needed in self defense, solid and substantial, especially the “Nutcracker “. Overall outstanding hand made and finished products. God bless Ukraine.

Ordered a beautiful crucifix from Asterom Canes & it was half the price of the same crucifix being sold elsewhere . Free delivery to Ireland as well , which was the cherry on the cake. I had never ordered from this company before but after reading so many positive reviews on Trustpilot i thought i would try them . I would highly recommend Asterom Canes, they deliver a brilliant service and at very reasonable prices.
