Marvin and team were great! I was on the 3rd floor with oversized furniture going to storage. They were fast, efficient, and gave great service! Will be using this company again.

We moved from Grand Rapids, MN to Woodland Park, CO through Safe Ship moving services who hired Asher to pick up our stuff and move it to Woodland Park.

What you should know is that they pick it up, bring back to Skokie, wait until they have enough "moves" going to where you're moving to and then load it onto a semi...

The one positive was that the 3 man team who came to pick up and load our "stuff" were tremendous. They worked hard, were well organized and responsible about loading our stuff. They loaded 2100 sq ft in roughly 4.5 hours and then drove back to Skokie.

I had been clear with Safe Ship the entire process that a 50+ semi was never going to be able to make it to our new house in Woodland Park, CO. I felt "heard when the 3 man team picked up our stuff in a 26' moving truck.

I get a call 12 days later (the last day, based on the contract that our stuff could be delivered) at 9 am from the Keanu from Asher "Yea, I can't get the semi to your house..."

Ultimately they had to wait until the next day to rent a 26' U-haul truck and move our stuff in 2 loads... The KICKER was we had to pay another $1700 for this...

Anyhow, they transfer our stuff to the U-haul... in a haphazardly way and proceed to unload our stuff on the first and 2nd floors, and even though nearly all the containers were labels, only about 25% of them mad it where they were supposed to go. After roughly 8 hours, regardless of our prodding, they left the last container/box on the 1st floor and...left.

We didn't move much furniture, an oak dining table and a couple of book cases, captains desk and an antique school desk... all of them, when we finally got everything unpacked were damaged in some way. The only pieces of furniture not damaged were 2 Queen Anne chairs. A computer monitor that was well packed and wrapped had the screen destroyed. Most of our stuff was in 12-18 gallon plastic containers... roughly 40% of them were unusable after the move due to the carelessness of moving the stuff from the semi to the U-haul.

We had to pay a local moving company $450 to finish putting stuff where it was supposed to go... after a week of..."discussions" with myself and Safe Ship, the owner of Asher, finally agreed to pay that.

Asher customer service was abysmal as was the delivery. BEWARE

DO. NOT. USE! Booked them to move and on the day of the move, they tried to charge me an additional $4k. Trash! When I said no, they just left. They said they'd send my deposit back in a few days. I'm not optimistic. You have been warned.

Antonio and Robert from Asher movers are two of the nicest people EVER. I did not have a good experience with the broker Safe Ship who tried adding additional fees after they quoted me an already outrageous price. They also said i could pay Asher Movers w Amex if i pay the remainder of my balance all up front which was a lie amd i only found out after i made the deposit and had no way of getting my $ back (yes def safe ship is sleezy) Asher Movers does not accept AMEX. Safe Ship said they reviewed the call but wouldnt own up to telling me false information. Then i never recieved a call day prior from the movers to deliver my stuff bc come to find out they were having phone issues. Their boss Ricardo immediately started to put the blame on me, threatening to tact on a bunch of additional fees. He ignored my calls and never text back, he has zero customer service skills and is clearly in it to make a quick buck in unprofessional ways. Needless to say when the delivery people came (antonio and robert) i had zero expectations on having a good experience with them bc of my experience with Safe Ship the broker (dont use) or asher movers 'boss' guy ricardo who has zero inclination to make it right with his customers so they want to use his service again but i was completely surprised and taken aback by how helpful Antonio and Robert were they were respectful and helpful and hardworking and by the end of this experience we were laughing and hugging and high fiving eachother. I would most def work w Antonio and Robert again i would not work w anyone else from that company, nobody else there cares about the actual customer. Antonio and robert left leaving a smile on my face during this stressful move experience and put me completely at ease. Like i said before Safe ship (broker) and Ricardo from Asher dont care about anything but the $ and it shows. I wish the best to Antonio and Robert u guys are awesome

Ricardo and his Team did an excellent job today. Polite and very kind with such professionalism. Made our move so much easier from Indiana. Thank you for treating our items like your own.
