Piano teaching
Bea has been teaching my sons for almost two years now. They are working towards grades 8 & 6 and the level of teaching from Bea has been at the correct level for their grades. They hadn’t had regular online lessons previously, but I have been impressed how smooth this has been with the setup Bea has in place. Both boys have moved up a grade in the last year and Bea is good at ensuring that as well as working through the grades, the lessons are enjoyable. I find Bea very thorough and keeps the boys on their toes by ensuring that focused homework is set. Thanks Bea for the last two years.

It's amazing how much I have learnt for just half an hour a week! Because of this course I managed to pass both my grade exams and my GCSE music exam with flying colours! Definitely helps with revision and generally just learning about the music, if you're looking for a course, this one is it.

Bea has been my daughter's music and…
Bea has been my daughter's music and piano teacher for almost three years. In addition to her talent as a musician, she has the ability to motivate her students and organise her curriculum so that the student acquires knowledge at their own pace and in the way they learn best. Her enthusiasm, her gift for teaching, her patience with children and her ability to know when to challenge and when to offer the student space to create their own music is extraordinary. This past year she also prepared my daughter for the 11+ Music Aptitude Test (both the Listening and Performance tests) and after a lot of work and effort between my daughter and her, the result has been great - my daughter got 42 out of 45 points. I also recommend her classes because she is always there for us, always professional and kind. We love her!

Bea has been an incredible music teacher for my 8-year-old son. From the very beginning, she created a warm, welcoming environment that made him feel comfortable and excited to learn music online. Her teaching style is perfectly suited for young children—she’s patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to make lessons fun while ensuring real progress is made.
Bea’s ability to keep my son engaged and motivated is amazing. She balances the technical aspects of music with creative activities that spark his interest, and I’ve seen his confidence grow week by week. Whether it's learning to read music or mastering a new piece, Bea makes every step enjoyable and rewarding.
I couldn’t be happier with my son’s progress under Bea’s guidance. She’s a fantastic teacher, and I highly recommend her and Ashbea music to any parent looking for a skilled, caring music instructor for their child.
