ArtistWorks fills a much needed niche for busy adult learners to take music lessons for a variety of instruments and styles at their own pace, with the opportunity to share their progress with their teacher and other learners, and receive personal video feedback from their teacher.

The lessons were good but the payment policy is a bit shady in my opinion. They will automatically withdraw a full price payment from your account with no notice & no option to cancel the payment. If you look at your account it will be stated that it is an automatic withdrawal but the whole thing is a pretty underhanded. I would have stayed with them as a regular customer if they were in a little classier in their business practice.

I signed up for a promo an artist advertised on Instagram. Unfortunately artistworks decided to keep my account info and draft my account after the 3 month promo expired. It went unnoticed by me and when I politely asked for a refund for a website and product I haven’t been using, I was told it was “impossible”, and transferred through a phone chain for an hour and a half. I was extremely disappointed by this weird underhanded business practice and I can’t recommend the product anymore. I hope you guys start to utilize more empathic business practices in the future.

Am very pleased with my instructor, Bryan Sutton. Have not used video exchange as much as I should, but am impressed with the sight overall.

The instruction in the Michael Daves vocal school is well thought out with each lesson building on the previous one. Not only is it a vocal school but you get to brush up on guitar skills as well. His lessons, without wasted talk, put the student right to work. The extra videos and interviews with musicians are an appreciated added bonus. Michael clearly has a grasp of what is needed to be an educator.

Great lessons. My only concern is the price—fair for what you get, but multi-instrumentalists will find that things can add up quickly. An ALL-ACCESS plan would be great!

Billing run amok, watch out...

Excellent remote teaching. Not only do you learn from your video submissions, but you are able to see other student’s master classes.

Love it, they're dedicated to it

The artists were great. The customer service people were the most abusive customer service people I have ever dealt with. They have multiple guitarists and they won't let you switch. It is nearly impossible to find where on the webpage to cancel your subscription. When I tried to either cancel my subscription,or at least switch to another instructor, instead of support I got lectured. At this point, I would not even accept a free subscription. Again, Chuck Loeb and Martin Taylor were amazing. It was the company's customer service people that will cause me to never go back.

If you ever forget to cancel the re-occuring payment they will NEVER refund your money.

Brian Sutton is amazing, but this website is just a money hungry corporation.

Very well done. Surprisingly effective material if you are interested in learning on your own. First-rate musicians. The course material itself (I've taken 5 at various times) is well organized.

I love working with Craig and Sarah on ArtistWorks. My ukulele playing has really progressed, and it's so much fun!
