The experience from start to finish was amazing. I needed a custom fit pant suit and vest for an event I was attending and as a tall, curvy, postpartum mother I was just not finding what I needed from any online store. I reached out to Dan and he not only helped me with my main outfit, but suggested a capsule wardrobe that has been my main go-to for all my work events. The fabric is so high quality, people notice and compliment me every time I wear my AOS fits. I will never buy from a department store again. These clothes will last a lifetime, worth every penny.

I was fortunate enough to be part of the SS '24 AoS catalog. From the jump, my experience was fantastic. From the initial interview about me, what inspires my style, and how I want my clothes to reflect who I am, to meeting the team and going through an intentional (and beautiful) capsule wardrobe (within my budget), I was amazed at the individualized approach.

Once I received the clothing, we spoke about how each piece could be maximized to its greatest use, how I might incorporate my pieces and personality into the mix, and where (if at all) adjustments could be made.

Now of course, my experience was a bit different, given I participated in the photo shoot in NYC with the team, but if anything, it made the experience much more personal. Not only is the quality of each piece obvious and present, but the team has truly created a community and family through their passion for clothing and their connection to their clients.

If you are looking for a tailor-made experience and one that is premised on the idea that you, as the client, are at the heart of their work, I cannot recommend Articles of Style enough. These are classic articles of clothing made to stand the test of time, and I will certainly continue to be a part of the AoS extended family as a customer.

Went to AOS for my Wedding Reception outfit. By far the smoothest process from start to finish out of all of our vendors, especially our initial call with the leader of the team Dan himself. He took the time to give us advice and make recommendations that proved to be a total game changer for the biggest day of my life. As a software engineer, I plan on being a lifelong client moving forward for work attire as well.

Dan and AOS have done it again. This is my 3rd purchase in the last few months. I have created my own capsule wardrobe over time. Dan has been great to work with in making suggestions along the way. This purchase is a sport coat that matches all of my AOS trousers so it was too good to pass up!

I’ve been a long time follower of this brand and love watching Dan walk through the capsule wardrobes they create. I finally pulled the trigger on a dark blue, wool knit sweater and I absolutely love the it. The sweater is clearly a very quality knit, well constructed, and the tailoring and fit makes this a super versatile piece. Really excited to have this as wardrobe staple.

Can’t say enough good things about this Company. My entire closet is filled with AoS. What drew me to them was the Made in the USA. After receiving my first suit from them I was hooked, they deliver high quality work with high quality fabrics. I look forward to wearing these garments for many years to come.

Overall experience with Articles of Style has been excellent. Everything I have purchased from Aritcles has been great quality and a great look. Beyond me just liking the clothes I've also gotten compliments on some of the clothings look and quality from friends and acquaintances. Anecdotally a tailor friend said the stitching on the pants was of a high quality which while over my head was interesting to hear. Only real issue I had was that I am myself am hard size fit so I had to return some pieces in exchange for a different size. With the delivery time already being over a month the purchase and exchange processes end up being long. In the future if I am unsure on sizing I'll order two different sizes at once and return one. Alternatively, I will give their Bespoke option a try.

Articles of Style is hands down the best menswear company out there. Dan and the team help you out every step of the way. The Navy Donegal is a classic, and I wear it for all my important life events. Graduations, galas, business meetings, weddings (even my own, haha), you name it.

Dan and his team do a great job from start to finish. Beginning with a zoom call with Dan to discuss my wardrobe and what I was looking for, to the fitting process, and ultimately the final garments, each step was easy and efficient. The pieces look great and fit great as well. Customer service is responsive and helpful if there are any issues or if any minor fit issues need to be corrected. Cannot recommend AoS highly enough and will be a customer for a long time.

Longtime fan & follower of Dan & AOS since way back when it was just a menswear blog. When they started their clothing brand I was enticed to say the least!

My initial purchase back in 2018 was a bespoke tweed suit. I have to be honest and say it was not the best experience, but to be fair, this was partly due to me not really understanding what suits my style and body. I went for that slimmer fit that was "in trend" at the time and my local tailor convinced me to send it back for a remake. To Dan's credit, he did remake the suit, but in hindsight, I should have opted for a more classic fit from the get-go.

Flash forward to 2023 when AOS launched their RTW capsule collections. The cohesive wardrobes, classic fits, and earthy color schemes really spoke to me, so I decided to give them another chance. I'm so glad I did because I am really happy with my capsule items and how all the pieces work together flawlessly. You really can't go wrong getting dressed in the morning.

When it comes to service, AOS really shines. Dan & his team go far above and beyond to help you plan your custom wardrobe based on your lifestyle, location, career, etc. When one of the coats sold out, Dan spent ample time helping me pick out an alternative fabric that would work with the wardrobe. He even helped me customize one of the RTW suits when I told him I didn't think I could pull off a double-breasted jacket!

Be forewarned, their garments aren't cheap, and the fulfillment process could be improved — items take a long time to ship, and it's not always clear what will ship when. But their expertise in building a custom wardrobe you will proudly wear for years to come is invaluable. Perhaps it's time to try another bespoke piece...

I totally enjoyed working with Dan and his team. They know their stuff, and the final product definitely shows. I had many questions and emails during the process; but no question went unanswered, and I was reassured along the way. Dan listened, got to know me, and the process was very collaborative. He did not try to sell me something that I did not want or did not need. Each piece of the finished wardrobe both fit perfectly AND looked spectacular. All my qualms were put to rest when I saw the quality of everything. I’ve received so many compliments on my new clothes, and proudly point them to Articles of Style. I had a fantastic experience with AOS. Although there were some bumps in the road, Dan and his team worked hard to smooth it all over. Most importantly, the bespoke suits and trousers I ordered fit me perfectly.

I met with Dan in late December 2023. My wardrobe, particularly my formal wear, need an upgrade. Dan and I worked together and created a capsule. The final garments arrived in March and they fit me like a glove. I was shocked. For one, the try on garment I received didn’t fit me at all: the trousers were extremely tight and the jacket was pulling from the back. I was skeptical that the online fitting process would be able to correct all of the mistakes and figured I’d have to go to a tailor again once the final pieces arrived. Not so. Dan and his team identified the problem areas and fixed them.

Overall, I highly recommend AOS. It does take a while to get the final bespoke garments, but the wait is well worth it.
