Wonderful communication until it comes…
From the beginning, communication seemed promising—until I started asking practical questions. The seller initially quoted me €2,000 for a large dress and €300 for a smaller one, demanding a 50% deposit via direct bank transfer with no buyer protection. Concerned about sending such a large sum unprotected (over 1k euro), I pushed for a safer payment method like PayPal. Instead of accommodating this reasonable request, they completely ignored me.
Trying to find a compromise (because they were in Kosovo and thinking maybe they do things differently there), I suggested flying to their shop in person. I offered to pay the deposit upon arrival and the remaining balance when collecting the dress six weeks later. However, they refused to provide their address, saying only that they would "take me to the fabric" once I arrived. You can't find them on Google maps so couldn't read any other reviews. This lack of transparency made me extremely uncomfortable, so I scaled back my order to just the €300 dress, agreeing to pay the 50% deposit as originally discussed.
At this point, they suddenly changed their policy, demanding full upfront payment—still with no buyer protection. I thought fine, I really wanted the dress. To test I got the correct bank details, I sent them €1. Yet, despite this, they never acknowledged receipt or answered my follow-up questions asking if they received it or about import fees. Even worse, while leaving my messages unanswered, they were actively posting on Instagram, proving they were online but choosing to ignore me.
I tried calling them several times throughout the process, but they refused to answer the phone, further eroding any trust.
The final red flag came was when I reached out to another customer who had purchased from them before and was selling their dress on Vinted. I asked about her experience with them to which she immediately replied "they were a NIGHTMARE", that they lied and said they sent the dress (when it was never sent, she checked the sent date when she finally received it) and wouldn't send her the tracking number. The dress was held in customs, arrived much later than the agreed time and arrived too big for her even though she sent the correct measurements.
This seller may offer appealing designs, but their unprofessional behavior, refusal to provide basic transparency, and complete disregard for buyer security make them far too risky to engage with. Cheap prices are meaningless when you’re left stressed (with impending event date looming), ignored, and potentially scammed. Avoid at all costs if you rate your sanity.
