Dr Emre and his magnificent team
Dr Emre and his magnificent team, including Sule (Case Manager), Rahullah (Operations Manager), Asana, were just simply on top form!!
I chose to get my Rhinoplasty only this year after having spent the last year on Zoom and Microsoft Teams video calls all throughout 2020/2021 and really noticed how I didn’t like seeing my nose; broke, 2 dorsal humps, large bulbous tip, where I also experienced breathing problems for over 20 years. It’s something I just got used to.
I considered having my surgery in my home country, the UK. However, I was astonished to find out that it has become standard practice for companies here to discharge you from hospital the same day of surgery. Friends who have had hose jobs in the UK were not happy with the aftercare and some with the end result. So I looked into researching surgery abroad. I came across Dr Emre on Instagram and messaged him direct. Dr Emre carried out a consultation with me via an online video call where he was extremely professional, honest and knowledgeable. Dr Emre then put me in touch with Sule afterwards. Sule held my hand throughout the whole process from assisting me with dates to fly out to Istanbul from Manchester etc.
Once I arrived into Istanbul earlier this month, the schedule was very clear. The transportation was easy with the driver waiting for me at the Arrivals entrance at the airport.
I was then taken to the hospital where I met Sule and Rahullah for the first time. It was so nice to finally meet with them in person. The purpose of the hospital visit on the day of arrival was so I could complete my initial checks for covid and to take blood samples. I was surprised to also meet with Dr Emre for the first time where we completed my face to face consultation so he reaffirm my objectives and what I wanted for the end result.
Thereafter I was I was escorted to the hotel. Sule dealt with my check-in and the following morning was the operation. Again the driver picked me up 7am sharp t the hospital where I was again met by Sule. She was super thoughtful and helpful. Interpreting for me where needed. Sule stayed with me throughout, till I was wheeled down the corridor to the theatre. I did in fact faint when I had the canula put in, but again the nursing staff were on point, taking care of me.
After the operation, when I came round from the anaesthetic, I was met by Dr Emre and the Anaesthetist to see how I was. The hospital was 5*. I had my own private room which also had it’s only little lounge. I was very comfortable and felt I was always in capable hands. I had my overnight stay at the hospital and the following day I was discharged back to my hotel with my medication. There, I spent my recovery period, pretty much ordering room service. The hotel was 5*, great staff, super helpful staff.
Arkhe Clinic and Sule touched base with me EVERY day by messages and video calls. Sule was always available to help with any of my queries, at any time (literally night or day!). At no point was I in any pain, just discomfort with the stents in. I was shown my before and after table pics and I LOVED the results!! I cannot believe the difference it has made.
On the day of my return flight, I was transported to the Clinic to meet with Dr Emre who again, couldn’t do enough for me. He noticed that one nostril was 1 mm bigger than the other. I hadn’t noticed this so much, but it was no problem for him. Under local anaesthetic, he was able to make an incision inside my nose and then re-stitch the affected section effortlessly, with dissolvable stitches. He is a perfectionist! :-)
I am eternally grateful to Dr Emre and his amazing team for everything they have done for me! I wish I had done this 10 year ago!!!!
