Full disclosure could have been given upfront. Instead it took my wife going back and forth and then myself before the particulars were fully explained. In addition it would seem that if one set of the same plans have been ordered on a walkout basement, they would have been saved where they could be used again instead of having to wait so long. Some construction lenders need the plans and costs associated with those plans to finalize the approval process. Meaning we could be spending $2,500, waiting 3 to 4 more weeks, then finally get an answer on approval. Just doesn’t seem to be the easiest way to do business.
