I don't like the terms of the contract…

I don't like the terms of the contract I was required to which I had to submit several months ago requiring me to pay a fee to cancel my contract.
I asked for granules to be spread on ground, and it does not appear as though it was done.

Generally I really like Aptive Pest…

Generally I really like Aptive Pest Control.
I didn’t give it 5 stars because there are inconsistencies when it comes to their service technicians. Some do a better, more thorough job than others!!

Disappointed

I am very disappointed with my experience with this pest control service. On multiple occasions, I was scheduled for a service visit, but no one showed up, and I received zero notification. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and incredibly inconvenient, especially after making arrangements to be home.

Furthermore, the actual pest treatment was ineffective. I had an active insect infestation coming from a floor air vent near my main door. A technician came out, identified them as 'mini ants,' and applied a pesticide. Unfortunately, the treatment did absolutely nothing, and I was left to handle the problem myself by vacuuming the bugs out of the vent. Overall, poor reliability and ineffective service.

I’m really sorry you’ve had this experience. Missing scheduled visits without communication is frustrating on its own, and pairing that with a pest issue that didn’t improve after treatment would understandably leave you feeling let down.

At Aptive, reliability and clear communication are supposed to be at the core of what we do, along with making sure pest issues are actually addressed, not just noted. When appointments are missed without notice or a treatment doesn’t resolve the problem, that tells us things weren’t properly handled on our end, and that’s something we need to take seriously.

The situation you described with the infestation near your air vent is especially concerning. If a service visit was completed but the issue persisted afterward, we’d want to revisit that and make sure the treatment plan was appropriate and followed through effectively.

Aptive does a great job, I have not had a bug in my house since I have been using them, and I only have them spray the outside of my house.

The worst dispatch and service…

The worst dispatch and service operations! They cancel appointments without notification-no text, no call, no email. This is the third cancelled appointment without notice. I will be cancelling my annual contract. This is the kind of low effort service that can kill a market segment.

Jerome promptly alerted me that he’d be…

Jerome promptly alerted me that he’d be arriving. He was open and listened to my requests to treat some hot spots. He also took note of where I asked that he not apply treatment as we have four dogs. It’s always about the technicians as they sre the face of any company or organization. Jerome hit ot out of the park in my opinion.

It Makes A Difference

We have had Aptive for 4 years. The services they provide make a noticeable difference in our home. We would get your typical small bugs, and there is much less in/around the house throughout the seasons. It’s worth my wife’s peace of mind knowing she’s not scared to go around the corner, especially in areas like the basement.

Very Controlling

Cannot cancel a visit from the 'goaptive' website it only allows you to reschedule at most a week out. Then when I tried to cancel the whole service, I had to call customer service and the representative would not cancel the service until I threatened legal action.

Managing your service through GoAptive should be simple. If the website only allowed limited changes, that’s something we need to review. You should never feel restricted when trying to make updates to your account.

They should not have come out yesterday…

They should not have come out yesterday because they could not do a complete service because of the snow.Should have done it on another day.I guess i still have to pay for the service.
