The cooker hood I ordered was delivered on time ready for the kitchen to be fitted. Because the kitchen fitter was not a qualified electrician and we required a new socket to install it we employed a local company to come and complete the installation. This did delay opening the appliance in fairness so we were outside the 14 day return policy. The electrician pointed out that on opening the box he discovered that the small catch that holds the glass front closed had snapped in 2. While I rang appliance direct he carried on and fitted the appliance stating that if we can’t get the part it was easy to take down and pack for return.
Customer service inform me I can’t get a replacement catch and because we allowed or to be fitted they won’t replace. Absolute Brick wall with an offer of £20 which I declined, New kitchen with a cooker hood that can’t be closed . Will never deal with them again.
Avoid this company , they sell items that the don’t have in stock

Rang their number with a query and was kept waiting. Total call time was 27 minutes, with query unresolved.

Shocking customer service
Ordered a brand new range cooker from the website with next day delivery available. Received a call from one of the sales team asking for my old oven to be disconnected from the mains gas and electricity. Which i had arranged to have done the morning of delivery at a cost to me.
Delivery day arrowxl never delivered my oven saying they had attempted to but nobody was home. This is a complete lie as I was at home all day. According to the tracking info they never made it anywhere near my property.
Obviously I contacted the absolute useless customer service to find out what was going on only to be told they will not delivery my oven until the following week. This now means I have no way of cooking for a whole week for my two young children. Unacceptable in my eyes.
New delivery date comes 4th Dec and yet again my new oven is not delivered. Yet again I spent 35mins on the phone trying to get a solution to this problem. Typically no one has a solution as it's a call centre overseas. They will not refund my money nor will they not give me a date for my oven to be delivered.
This company has now stolen my money for a product they promised to deliver. Fraud springs to mind.
And I still have no means of cooking for my young kids.
Still waiting for replies from emails I've sent to the headofcustomerservices.
Delivery postcode if anyone is interested in resolving this problem before I take legal action. Nn128ld.

Order 5556383. And 55669100 Not the best experience with this company Paid for a fridge. Oven. Hob to be fitted. Took a day off work for delivery. Waited til 4pm then rang up. Got told matter of factly your delivery was cancelled because the oven wasn't available even tho i paid. After a frustrating 20mins on hold he told me to replace the oven for same price then have to rebook a delivery and time off work for a new delivery next day
I asked will i definitely get my delivery Tomorrow as i dont want to miss work and was told yes definitely no problem. Next day got a text sorry there's an issue with despatch on your order and delivery been rescheduled . . AGAIN waiting in most of the day i rang up and asked was the engineer on way and told yes. Waited til 4pm rang AGAIN and informed he wasn't booked for me today. Another contradiction and phantom delivery. a simple email or call would of be nice to let you know They simply just tell you a date and chuck a time in to get you off the phone. no transcripts of chats to prove what you been told then when you ring up you all you get is "i apologise or "am so sorry in a robot like way .... . I Lost a lot of work just for a simple order.No offer of compensation or a gesture for loosing my days work as am self employed single dad i need to work. totally stressful and frustrating from the minute i paid my order. 4 weeks and still waiting for new hob to be fitted. Not Happy. Be warry.

Item in stock, cancelled on the day for delivery, cancelled, cancelled.. chasing up chasing up etc expect 35min per call to get through… never again it was stressful..

I wish there was an option for less than one star, this company deserves it. Purchasing online was a breeze, how quickly payment was taken .. order was confirmed with delivery date. I then received an email from the courier to confirm delivery. This was then followed by e-mail saying they could not deliver as 1 item was missing .. there was only one item in the order. Contacted courier, no explanation. Contacted Retailer .. I requested the order be cancelled as there appeared to be no product in delivery but the -email I received after the call was that a case had been raised. I then get a call from the courier to say they'll arrive in 40 mins, they did not and did not call me. When I called them they said they had been rerouted. Went back to the Retailer and was basically palmed off with a load of rubbish about them needing confirmation from the courier that the order could not be fulfilled before refunding. I decided to raise a dispute with my credit card provider as I have lost any trust/faith that this retailer can resolve this quickly and satisfactorily. My constructive advice .. do something else, rather than inflicting themselves on others. My mistake? .. not checking the reviews on this site.

Claiming damage on a return!
After a very long time in email communication checking that they would not deduct a percentage for any damage to the boxing I sent the item back in pristine condition that had not been touched other than for me to personally inspect it and put it straight back in its bubble wrap and I got a rude text to tell me that there were dents and scratches all over it and they would be taking 20% of my money out of my refund. I have asked them for their information because I will be taking this matter to Court. These kind of firms need to be stopped.

I ordered an air conditioning unit from Appliances Direct and paid extra for next-day delivery. During the checkout process, I was asked to provide my installer’s details, as the product contains refrigerant gas. That’s fair enough — but despite sending my installer’s F-Gas competence certificate, company name, installer name, and postcode three separate times, they continue to claim they haven’t received the information.
I’ve provided everything exactly as requested, yet they’ve failed to release the product or deliver it, while still holding on to my money. Communication has been confusing (operatives from abroad) and inconsistent, and there’s been no sign of resolution or accountability.
when I purchased, I was given several installation options, including using my own installer or using one of their recommended installers (maybe this could be the difficulty in wanting to use my own?) it’s misleading to allow an option to use your own installer if they’re unable (or unwilling) to process legitimate installer credentials promptly.
At this point, I’m left out of pocket with no product and no confidence in their customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase to think twice before ordering from Appliances Direct.

Avoid avoid! Customer service is shocking! I ordered a double oven that came with a chip on the inside! They tried to get me on every loophole and then I sent images they said “oh we see you installed it, as per our terms you should not have installed as could have made worse”! This was a chip on the inside that was covered with protective cardboard that you would not remove until your appliance was safely stored! They then argued that they looked and the protective cardboard would not have covered that area and I would have seen it when opening the door!!! No I never or I would not have installed it!!! They do not listen, make up excuses for damaged products they have sent! They have offered me 3 x money values, why do that you if you know you are selling us damaged products, just replace them! I have taken this further. Don’t give yourself the stress and hassle trying to sort something out as they will not listen.

Appalling Service
Purchased an Indesit dishwasher to replace an old faulty unit......delivery took place fine and unti was installed by a qualified plumber......came to use the unit and it poured water all over my kitchen floor and the error code showed the unit to be faulty. Appliances direct were called. A replacement AEG unit was ordered and the difference paid for......I aked for a gesture of good will to cover the cost of my plumber which was denied but was offered free installation of the AEG. This unit was delivered on time and installed by their installer, however he could not connect the inlet pipe as it had a filter on the end which would not go through the existing holes in the cabinet. He said he was not allowed to cut holes so I went to my local hardware store and bought a hole saw and cut the hole for him. Once finished he started the machine but then announced that he didn't know how to work the unit and couldn't get it to drain. He left leaving me with a machine that having spoken with AEG has been installed incorrectly.......am now waiting for an AEG engineer to fix their faulty install......appalling service

Poor service is an understatement
It is surprising that such a business is thriving despite the poorest of the services. We had ordered a kitchen hood on 7th, and they have been pushing the delivery date almost half a dozen times. I am questioning my builder to have referred me to such a hopeless service. I had cancelled my order, and hoping they return the money in a timely manner.

I looked to buy an air conditioning unit and took note of an electric 12000 btu unit at £369.98 appliances direct email confirming the price and if I was still considering it I was clicked the link to find the price was £429.00, tried to call on a premium rate number and had to wait eventually got through to sales said price was £429 and when advised re email and price she said she had nothing to do with web and would put me through to after sales for some reason phone went dead call still live ended up terminating a called back for customer services. After many maa asny push button options and more time eventually got a recorded message wait is around 17minutes. I would email but there is no email contact. Looks like I’ve escaped a bad experience

Utterly appalling customer service from Appliance Direct. I will never use this company again. They have lied to me on several occasions. I have rung them several times to clarify then my order is coming after it was cancelled this week. It was then delivered on the wrong day despite them reassuring me it was coming on my preferred rescheduled day. Their customer service is offsure and takes several minutes to connect and then you wait some time for their system to work. It looks like they have two ppl in cust service and one person in Sales. Their opening hours day up to 7pm in Sales but their voice message said they were now closed when I rang today at 5.30pm. Both of which I rang to try and get reassurance. They did not test the dishwasher after installation and a second dishwasher will probably arrive tomorrow as the courier co and Appliance Direct are not in sync. Do not touch this company!
