Antony Hodari Solicitors is a specialist housing disrepair law firm acting only for tenants. We help people living in council, housing association and privately rented homes whose landlords have failed to carry out repairs; our aim is to get the repairs done and to secure compensation for the time our clients have spent living in poor conditions. The firm was founded in Manchester in 1984 and has focused on claimant litigation for over forty years. Today we have offices in Manchester and Liverpool and a team of around 180 people, including some 130 fee earners dedicated to housing disrepair claims and prosecutions under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. We settle hundreds of cases every month and act for thousands of tenants across England and Wales. Our work covers damp and mould, leaks and water damage, structural defects, faulty heating and electrics, pest infestations and any other disrepair a landlord is obliged to put right. Our team pursues the matter until the work is complete. We act on a no win, no fee basis, so there is no cost to find out whether you have a claim. Worst solicitors I have ever dealt with.
Our home had hundreds of disrepairs and was a serious health hazard, especially for our disabled child with a life-limiting condition. The housing association caused us a huge amount of stress and upset, and we trusted these solicitors to help us fight for the repairs and compensation we deserved.
Instead, they pushed us to accept the lowest offer. Even after continuing to fight, they took more than half of my compensation. I was awarded £3,000 but only received £1,249. They took over 25%, plus another fee of nearly £400 that I was not clearly informed about. This was on top of having their legal fees paid by the housing association.
I feel completely let down and misled. After all the stress, time, and effort, it was not worth it. I trusted them to help us, but instead I feel like they took advantage of the situation.
I would never recommend them to anyone. Please be very careful before using their services.

Not great at all ,extremely SLOW I have to keep chasing with for a response/ update No housing repairs have been done , N communication frm southern housing regarding repairs, spoke to Anthony before Xmas was told he would be able to get a result & informed me it will be within 1/ 2 day , This was 1 month ago.
Had to calk again today
