I love wearing thesse pantyhose!

I love wearing these pantyhose as they are comfortable, durable and feel just great! They help in leg swelling, and in arthritis.
I would recommend them for anyone-male or female. And they wear good for sleep also!

Will never use this company again!

I purchased a Doctor Leg Rest pillow from Ames Walker for my use following knee replacement surgery. My doctor told me that the pillow was inappropriate for the surgery since my leg needed to be straight after surgery and the pillow forced it to bend slightly. I needed to return the pillow. The pillow did not arrive with a return label as is advertised on the Ames Walker site. When I contacted the company they told me they would not pay for reshipping. I told them I could not find this information on the site. It took customer service 10 minutes to locate the language in very fine print. The pillow was costly ($80), and with a doctor's notification, I would think such a site would accept returns on medically-related items. I will not patronize this company again!

Liars !!!!! I was Never Contacted By them this is nothing but a scripted reply absolute LIARS!!!!!! wish I would have checked sooner for their reply. I Do Not Nor Will I Ever Again Deal With Ames Wal

After placing my first order with this company, I was very disappointed in their customer service. My order was placed on the 14th of oct., we contacted Ames Walker on the 26th of oct. inquiring about our order. We received nothing in the way of tracking the order nor Ames Walker letting us know if there was a problem with our order. Everything I order online these days has tracking, why do they not offer tracking? They don't want me to know the day I ordered, they knew it was on back order.

The customer rep. stated that my order was on back order and that she sent an E-mail telling us so on the 19th of oct. We went to look and there were no E-mails sent. If you do the math this company is telling their customers it takes them !!!! 5 Days !!!! to realize they do not have something in stock. Quite frankly I believe this is a Lie. They just want the money. Plus she never came back to the phone and when i called back they would not answer. Sent email to CANCEL today !

Too many things disintegrating

Nine pairs of compression pantyhose in a little under two months. How is this acceptable? The first set of three was two sizes too small, ordered based on the rather vague directions given on the website. Second set of three? Disintegrated within two weeks of me getting them. I contacted customer service and told them what happened. They emailed me a return label and I sent them back. I got three new pairs that also left me with a small credit on my account. Three weeks later and all three of the new pairs have developed holes. Two are completely useless and I'm not sure how long the third pair will hold together. As these are a medical necessity I will be looking at other companies going forward.

Extremely satisfied with my experience …

Extremely satisfied with my experience with Ames Walker. Laura Denny in the customer service department gave me personalized, excellent help with my rush order. She had already quoted out different shipping methods when I contacted her about my rush need for a Lounge Doctor wedge pillow for my knee replacement surgery that was happening the same week. I received my Lounge Doctor pillow a day prior to my surgery (Yes, I had to pay extra for shipping but worth every penny!). The pillow has made my recovery so much easier and more comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone undergoing knee surgery! I will actually be continuing to use after my recovery as I find that using this pillow to elevate my feet in bed while reading also helps my lower back a great deal. I was apprehensive as first as I couldn't believe I was spending that much money on a pillow - but absolutely worth every penny!! My only regret is that I didn't purchase the extra wide wedge - I say this because I think that one could've been used by my husband in the future more easily if needed.
I'm 5'4" and purchased the medium wedge.

Ames Walker was recommended to me by a …

Ames Walker was recommended to me by a friend who has worn compression hose for a long time. I have been very pleased with both the service and quality of their house brand of compression hose. I had a bit of a problem figuring out the right size of compression hose I needed, but I finally figured that out and now I know what size to order. Returning the wrong size costs me money, but it is well worth it to know my order will be received and then the corrected size sent back to me very quickly.

I'm back for my 4th order in 11 months

I'm back for my 4th order in 11 months. Ames Walker is the only place from which to order.
I wear compression stockings every day. I get the Juzo "basic" = cheap. I wore the closed toe all winter. They were comfortable, looked good and last a long time. I got the sheer open toe for summer. They are perfect for sandals. I have switched to the open toe on every thing now. They are so easy to put on and comfortable to wear. I have problems with some of my toes and need to wear a gel or wrap most of the time. Couldn't be easier with the open toe.

Ames Walker "was" great but not anymore. Too bad..

I was so pleased when I found Ames Walker many years ago and have used their brand exclusively with no issue for many years. They have provided really great service and quick shipping, etc. A year ago I placed an order and every sock I bought developed holes - most on the first wear or even while putting them on. I contacted them and after three attempts was just told they believed they changed their yarn. No offer of any resolution for having unusable products. I then thought they must have other complaints so ordered again - this time two different types of products so whatever happened with the first product I had been using for years may not be present in these. The shipment arrived and on inspection two pair had holes in them before even starting to put them on the first time. Others wore holes on first wear and two pairs have been almost as good as I have experienced over the past years. I contacted them again and after multiple requests to customer support I received an email with an apology. No offer to replace those that had not even been tried on or anything. I could tolerate a bit of a hiccup if their customer service was interested in protecting the brand but apparently they do not want me as a customer anymore. They got their wish.

Update - When would be soon? I have not been contacted by anyone from customer support. Nice to update here that you want to help but actually helping seems to be a miss as was my experience that prompted me to post here in the first place.

Still disappointed but settled in with a different supplier.

A reliable company for medical compression products

I have ordered many products many times through the years, and Ames Walker has proven itself to be a reliable company for me to purchase medical compression items from. They have a wide selection
and there prices are very fair! I do recommend them if one needs medical compression aids!

Fabulous "FEAT"

I placed an order for one pair of pressure stockings. When order arrived it included a discount for next order. I liked the stockings and ordered three more pairs. The merchandise came in an orderly time frame. It was well packaged. I was notified of shipment date and had the ability to track the order. All was good and I'm not only a fan but a happy camper.

I've searched for years for a good pair …

I've searched for years for a good pair of sandals that fit all my needs for footwear. I wear a size 13 so thats the first hurdle, and I need something that will accommodate my orthotics, something with a closed heel so the lift won't fall out and one with a closed toe because my toes are misshapen (arthritic). These sandals have all that PLUS...they also have velcro straps across that allowed me to loosen so it wasn't too tight across my bunion. Perfect, AND they're comfortable! I love them!

I need to contact them. I have repeatedly called. am put on hold for ever or busy. and have even left my number and no return calls. I have a return currently there and they are charging shipping on the return. I try to call them and cant get through

A mixed bag...

I've ordered from Ames Walker for many years with very mixed results. They do a good job with the mechanics of ordering, shipping etc. However: Ordering compression hose online can be a frustrating experience because size charts and colors are often way off, you don't know what you're getting until you try it on, and it's expensive. Moreover, this is a medical product that affects your well-being, not just a fashion statement, but doctors are not much help. Ames Walker could improve sales by finding ways to help customers select a product likely to satisfy. One way would be to have customer service reps who know the products and can advise the customer. Another way is to publish reviews from customers that state the customer's height, weight, leg size etc so you could get an idea of the fit. My impression is that Ames Walker only cares about the bottom line and has no more interest in customers' satisfaction than if you bought through Amazon.

Many years to the good.

I have bought stockings from Ames Walker for many years and I have never had an unresolved issue and very few issues at all. I highly recommend them as a company that looks after their customers and with excellent products to suit your needs. Go for it!

If you ever have a return to Ames …

If you ever have a return to Ames Walker, good luck.
When the shipment is sent , it has a return label which states there's no postage necessary.
When the return gets to Ames Walker.
They charge you for the shipping.
I told them I wasn't paying and the label also stated postage not necessary.
I then told them to keep their product and refund my order.
Got a email back from Ames Walker they're going to credit my charge card, minus the shipping charges.
false advertisement and fraud in my opinion.
I will be pursuing legal option.
Yeah it might cost me some money.
But it's worth it to expose this kind of business practice.
Oh and customer service won't answer my calls about this.
But response to the email.
So I know they were there, just to cowardly to pick up the phone LV.
LV is the initials of the customer service representative who sent me back emails​, but couldn't pick up a phone.

When the return postage label states right on the label no postage necessary.
Ames Walker never informed me there was a cost to use a return postage label that states on it. "No Postage Necessary".
Definitely a shady company to deal with in my opinion.
Simple solution , stop sending return shipping labels that state "No Postage Necessary"with the orders.

Was called by another AW representative ,told they're going to ship my order and no charge for postage.
This representative who's first name initial is F.
Was very well spoken and nice.
Will update when order arrives.

The Jobst Mens Dress are thinner than …

The Jobst Mens Dress are thinner than ever after wearing just 2 times they have run in them, At the extreme price of $70.00 they should be a little more tear resistent to tearing. I have been buying the for at least 7 years and they just keep reducing the quality. SO I have to find something else.
