I had bought a bedcover for a 2016 Silverado

I had bought a bedcover for a 2016 Silverado in advance because I knew I was purchasing my dad’s truck from him. So when it came in, it sat in my garage for months until I get the truck. Went to install and it wasn’t even the right cover they sent me. They sent me one for a 2015-2020 Ford F150. All they can say is “it’s outside the return window” instead of acknowledging their mistake and making it right. Worst customer service I’ve ever had. I won’t purchase another thing from them and urge you all to do the same.

Our return policy allows for returns within 30 days of purchase, and unfortunately we’re not able to process returns outside of that window. That said, I shared your situation with my manager, and if the tonneau cover has not been installed, we can set up a return and replacement for you, since you shared that you received the incorrect item.

To set up this return, you can contact our Customer Service Team and they will be able to assist you. We did make notes on your account so the representative you speak with will be able to assist you. Please note, this would be for a replacement of the tonneau cover.

The expirience was good

The expirience was good. Maybe add tax to the beginning price to let people know the true cost. It may set you apart. As always lowest pricing possible is always good for the consumer.

Was sent wrong trim part

Was sent wrong trim part. Called no big deal. Sent me a shipping label. Sent it in via FedEx. Then u guys shipped me the exact same part I returned? I have a 2022 GMC 2500HD Denali. You guys sent me trim part for Chevy Silverado. Twice wrong part. Terrible after ordering on line and talking with a Rep.🤔

I haven't received order confirmation

I haven't received a confirmation for my order or the link with which I could verify my e-mail account (I've checked trash folder and tried contacting American Trucks). Instead I have received approximately 3 marketing e-mails per day. Very unsatisfied.

Strongly suggest purchasing elsewhere

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with AmericanTrucks.com. Before placing my order, I updated my shipping address in their system to make sure the package would go to the correct location. I confirmed the change in my account, but despite that, the order was still processed and shipped to my old address. Their system clearly did not save or apply the updated address, which is completely unacceptable for an online retailer.

To make matters worse, when I contacted customer service about the issue, they refused to fully resolve it. Instead of refunding the full amount or reshipping the item to the correct address, they told me the only thing they could offer was a store credit for half of the order value that I would have to use on their website again. So not only did their system send my order to the wrong address, but now they expect me to spend more money with them just to recover part of what I already paid.

This is incredibly poor customer service and a very unfair resolution for a problem that was caused by their system. I did everything I was supposed to do by updating my address before placing the order, yet I’m the one left dealing with the consequences.

Between the unreliable ordering system and the refusal to properly fix the problem, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in AmericanTrucks.com. I would strongly caution others before ordering from them.

We show on your latest order, the billing address was updated, but the shipping address was still showing as the one in SC. We are unable to confirm why it shipped to your old address, if you made the update to the billing and shipping address online. We can understand your frustration with this situation.

When you placed your order online, did you notice throughout the ordering process, the shipping address was listed as your new one? We do show the address a few times during the checkout process. If you see this old address noted on future orders, please take a snapshot of the screen showing the old address, and we will see why this is not being updated for you. Very nice site

Very nice site. It was easy to get around and had they had a huge selection for my 2026 ram 1500 with videos to show me how to install it.. I’ll come back in rate the products after I get them.

I was using PayPal and accidentally…

I was using PayPal and accidentally picked an address that was from my old residence for the ship to. Once I found out I picked the wrong address so immediately emailed them this all took place about 5 minutes after paying. This was on Saturday around 11am. I asked them to change the address to my current address. They responded about 30 minutes later with a story that they couldn’t change anything because it had to match the bill to address for the credit card. I replied to cancel the order since the address was incorrect and the card should have generated an error, but it didn’t. Later I received another email stating it was too late to change since they had already shipped it. Remember it’s Saturday before noon.

This whole thing should have been easily corrected. I realize I picked the wrong ship to. But now I have paid and probably won’t receive the product since it’s going to the wrong address.

By the way I would say their customer service isn’t very helpful. I won’t be buying anything from this company going forward.

Once an order is placed, it locks after about 15-30 minutes and once it is locked, we cannot guarantee a cancellation of the order. We do see that you reached out to our Customer Service, and they shared we would be unable to do a change of address for your order. Normally we can request a change of address, but if you used PayPal, Affirm, ApplePay or Kapult for payment, we are unable to request a change of address for these orders.

We do see that the item was being returned to our warehouse. We set up a Return to Sender return. Once the warehouse checks in the package, we will issue you a refund. We will send an email to you once the refund is completed.

Easy to find and order my parts, excellent suggestions. Competitive prices. The charge for shipping assurance I found to be a little concerning. Why do I have to pay 11 dollars for what should be guaranteed.

Although the product came as described…

Although the product came as described it was not the exact form/fit of the OEM mirror cover. Besides the fact that the tabs were not on the mirror cover to connect it to the mirror and the doubled sided tape was know where thick enough to attach the mirror. The overall shape of the mirror cover was too large and would not fit snugly onto the mirror. Needless to say I ended up having to glue it to the mirror.
