Easily one of the most frustrating banking experiences I’ve ever had. The app feels outdated and often lags or crashes right when you need it most. Customer service is a loop of transfers, long holds, and zero real resolution. Fees show up out of nowhere like surprise charges in a game you didn’t agree to play. Overall, it feels less like a bank and more like a daily test of patience.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This branch was not accommodating when cashing a check drawn on their bank. I spent over 20 minutes waiting inside the bank for them to validate a check drawn from their bank. The 8 dollar “non -member fee “ could have been waived by the branch manager for the inconvenience but was told he doesn’t have the authority because it’s automatic. Choose another branch if you have to use Amegy. I don’t appreciate being lied too and my time wasted.
