This is my second review of AMC Garden rooms following the initial installation of our external office/gym room (2 years ago).

I wanted to highlight the customer service and after- sales support from AMC Garden rooms is exceptional! A special shoutout to Sandra, and Fred.

I rely heavily on email for business communications, and they have responded to every single one, promptly. Most recently, I asked them to adjust the door frames to account for the extreme heat in the UK. They planned their schedule to visit us on one of the hottest days, and carried out the work perfectly. Very personable team too! I highly recommend, again!!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, DO YOUR RESERCH FIRST. I am a Extremely disappointed customer very badly let down, I was left with a very poor product which is as is unfit for purpose.

Ryan and his team installed a custom built garage for me late in 2024. I have had nothing but problems with it since. The entire building has moved to a point that nothing aligns, I have significant water ingress 360° around the base, I have a severely bowed wall running down the entire side of the building. The double garage doors do not align and close properly along with the locking pins completely shedding off. I have 3 windows which 2 are now inoperable, The single door can jam to a point you cannot gain access along with the Lower panelling separateing from the door. Gaps throughout building showing daylight shining through, The wood and joins throughout the building are coming away from each other as can be seen in the attached photo. The wood used was far to fresh and not atall seasoned adding another yet more issues.

I was a very polite and kind customer knowing I had the 10 year guarantee I contacted Ryan and let them know of my issues which started in the first 3 months which I couldn't be more polite about. They took advantage of my kindness and left me waiting countless times with no repairs made, then to be accused the problems were the base of the garage which they legally signed off on prior to construction commencing. There are no problems with the base atall but Ryan decided to use this as a means of trying to pass blame. This was his conclusion before even coming out to the property and looking at the issues in person! After a very lengthy chain of emails and messages he eventually came out and very poorly applied some silicone to the base and again very poorly strapped the double doors to keep them together however he left staples gong right through the wood coming out in the door face. Obviously none of the above sorted anything and did infact make matters worse. I could not endure the stress Ryan put on me to chase this any longer, i gave them countless opportunities and I was very much taken advantage of. it was a extremely stressful time for me just getting Ryan to accept to come over after his false accusations that did infact breach the consumer rights act 2015 by trying to pass blame on something he was legally required to address.

After speaking with citizens advice and being advised I was legally entitled to at very least a substantial refund to have repairs made from a reputable company, gathering months worth of evidence in my favour showing AMRs breaches of contract and poor workmanship and business practices to find out AMR log cabins have disolved and are now AMR garden rooms!!! Its obvious why they have done this as im sure im not the only person to be left out of pocket chasing money and not there first time from a simple google search and obviously they are now not liable for all previous builds despite being the exact same company. Absolutely shocking business practices. A disgrace.

I sincerely would not trust AMR or whatever name there making up next to complete any of your garden / shed / log cabins or any projects they claim to be compitent in building. I have spent over 11 thousand pounds at AMR and its now one of the worst decisions of my life, left with a building unfit for purpose.

Other unprofessional things to note the building arrived much later than first agreed, the team managed to completely squash a small confier tree which was nowhere near the build just next to the single gate and they had loads of space through the double gates so it was just lazy carelessness, I nievely treated all 4 or 5 of the work lads to a full breakfast bought from a reputule sandwich shop, they actually left countless bits of rubbish from that throughout my garden with many sharp staples I had to clean up, I ignored all of these things at the time however it was a taste of things to come.

I just wish I did my research as its all there in black and white.

Had a 6x3.5m garden room made with amc, booked in a date and once started was professionally and quickly built exactly as specified, the builders and whole team were very friendly and professional and im extremely happy with my garden room. They were very attentive to any adjustments and questions I had about anything throughout the whole process.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new garden room and thanks to everyone on the team!

We’ve just had a 2.2m x 2.5m garden office built by AMC Garden Rooms and couldn’t be happier. From the first conversation to the finished build, everything was handled professionally and transparently, with great communication throughout.
Their customer service was excellent – always helpful, responsive and happy to answer any questions along the way. The quality of the work is outstanding and the attention to detail really shows. The team were friendly, tidy and clearly take pride in what they do. The end result looks fantastic and has exceeded our expectations.

AMC designed and built an L-shaped garden office with attached garden shed for us. Every step of the process was smooth. They were very patient as we iterated through designs, both layout and decorative. They have a great selection of e.g. flooring and cladding. The fabrication of components is done off-site after an initial assessment of the site, so construction wasn't very noisy. The builders were pleasant, the work was done efficiently, and the result is all we hoped for.
On a side-note, we are mid-terrace but our neighbours offered to remove a garden fence panel to allow direct access to the garden. The builders were very considerate to our neighbours, who have only nice things to say about them.

From our very first conversation with AMC Garden Rooms, we felt confident in their ability to deliver a bespoke garden office that met our unique requirements. The project involved building in a challenging space, with the need to maximise every inch and incorporate two points of entry. The initial design phase was collaborative and clear, AMC’s team offered thoughtful suggestions and practical ideas that helped shape the best possible outcome.

Before signing any agreements, the payment structure and scheduling were explained in detail, with built-in flexibility that proved invaluable. This flexibility allowed for improvements and adjustments during the build phase, all of which were communicated transparently. Costs were tracked and discussed before any changes were made, ensuring there were no financial surprises and that we remained in control throughout.

The build team were excellent, polite, tidy, and respectful of our space. Communication started off okay but improved significantly as the project progressed. We were kept informed about daily plans and site access, which was crucial for coordinating our own schedules, access and making arrangements for our dog.

Throughout the build, we felt comfortable asking questions, and every query was answered clearly, reinforcing our confidence in the team and the final result. Upon completion, a thorough handover took place. A few minor issues were raised, and to AMC’s credit, these were resolved quickly and without hesitation.

We’re absolutely delighted with the finished garden office. It not only meets our vision and functional needs but also benefits from AMC’s expert input on design and space optimisation. The quality of the build is fantastic, solid construction, high-grade materials, and a finish that speaks to their craftsmanship.

Pricing was fair, transparent, and justified by the quality delivered.

AMC Garden Rooms listened, adapted, and ultimately delivered a fantastic result. We’re very glad we chose them for this bespoke project.

Overall we had a great experience with AMC. The build of our small office was completed whilst we were on holiday and apart from the new room, we couldn’t tell they’d been in our garden for 2 weeks. Post build snags were dealt with quickly, efficiently and satisfactorily.

From start to finish an amazing service and final result.
AMC took the architects drawings and turned them into a bespoke designed garden studio. The build met all the requirements specified and the workmanship was second to none. We now have a fantastic additional space to our home. Highly recommend them. High quality build, on time and to budget. Everyone (particularly Kimberley and Fred) were super helpful throughout, and the build team were very easy to have around, and did a great job. Thank you all so much.

Very good from start to end. I was quite detailed and particular through the quoting and design phase and we had some unusual requirements e.g. plywood internal cladding instead of plasterboard. They were very good and happy to do things a little bit differently. The build process was great too - minimal disruption. They made one small mistake with the doors but spotted the mistake before I did and put it right without any fuss. Overall a very good process, and the finished building looks great and blends into our garden really well.

It has been a total pleasure working with AMC to create our dream garden room. Each aspect of the process was explained to us, we felt that we understood each cost and could make creative and budget decisions without any pressure. The team were also quick to reply to emails and answer any questions we had. The build team did an excellent job and were professional and respectful of our home at all times. We absolutely love the finished product and would highly recommend using AMC.

Can’t fault the whole experience with AMC from our first contact to some last minute tweaks. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional but special mention to our installation team who were a pleasure to have around the house for two weeks. We’re super happy with the quality of everything and the way the room was built to our exact dimensions rather than standard panels. Definitely recommend.

AMC were clear and responsive in their communication. They made it easy for us to understand what to expect. The build went smoothly and we are happy with the look and quality of the garden room.

Throughout our garden gym project, the entire team at AMC were excellent. They handled the design and planning applications and everything progressed pretty smoothly.

Notwithstanding the 'tree police' and the lousy wet weather, the build forged ahead as planned. Their team of workmen which included a plasterer and electrician, were always friendly, punctual and polite, and the quality of their workmanship was top-notch.

We are delighted with the finished product and can thoroughly recommend AMC to anyone looking for a reputable garden-building company to complete their dream project.

From the beginning of the process, the Annexe design, to the final day of installation, the AMC team were nothing but exceptionally professional, helpful and friendly. Any changes I made along the way, and there were quite a few, were just dealt with without any fuss. The installation team worked really hard, and at the end of every day they cleaned up and made the area as tidy as possible.
This was an Annexe with fully fitted kitchen and shower room, sited in my rear garden. It might not have been AMC's biggest project, but to us it was a significant investment, so it had to be right. It was - my son moved in immediately, and he loves it!

We simply cannot recommend AMC highly enough, professional from beginning to end. We now have such a beautiful building in our garden l that has given us the much needed space we needed as a family.

We were very happy with the help we had sorting out our ideas and the details of our potential garden room.
They were quite happy to amend details when the plan had been drawn up. Certain internal cosmetic details went confirmed until it was at the factory stage ready to be made. Very please with the installers work over the 2 weeks at the beginning of March.

We had our garden room built in November 2023 and had a great experience with AMC. The quotes were detailed and we were kept updated throughout the process until the build began. The builders were friendly and worked very hard (even in cold and wet conditions).

We are extremely happy with the end result and would highly recommend!

Thanks to AMC our garden now has a nice cosy home for an older relative who has settled in well, and retains their independence. AMC were a pleasure to deal with from the initial consultation, design and construction through to completion. Communication was excellent with the team in the office and those on site, responsive to all our requests and requirements throughout the planning stage and the build. We are really happy with the finished product and would highly recommend AMC.

We had a garden room planned, designed and constructed by AMC this summer. It was a little more complicated then the simplest ones due to trees in the way, planning issues and other things we needed but AMC was great throughout the process. We met different parts of the team multiple times, they did many site visits to ensure everything went off well. There are of course some issues on the way as it is with old London buildings and homes where there was a bit of miscommunication. However, AMC was accommodating and able to sort it out and worked with us on solutions. They gave us so much attention at a very busy time of the year for them. The construction team (foreman was Fred) was really lovely to deal with. They were completely hassle free and worked at the worst time in the year during snow! They had to go through our flat to go to the garden and were so careful. All in all, would recommend AMC.

So very easy to work with. Totally flexible. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the product and workmanship was also top notch.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending AMC. Great work
