I contacted them with a technical issue that was responded too the same day, a solution was managed remotely and my system now works perfectly. Excellent customer service and would recommed their equipment.

I had a PV and Alpha ESS battery system installed via my Utility provider a couple of years ago and everything worked fine. Unfortunately a battery fault light came on and they would not charge. I contacted my Utility provider who redirected me to the installer. After about 3 weeks and many calls no response so out of desperation I e-mailed Alpha ESS direct. WOW ! after 10 mins Lewis Hall responded and arranged a telephone contact the following morning. He called exactly as planned and talked me through a fix and did some fixing from his end. My system now seems to work even better than before. Thank you very much, it makes a pleasant change nowadays to receive such excellent service. Thanks again Lewis.

Excellent service from AlphaESS UK providing speedy answers and a solution when the display on our installation failed to supply any readings. Eddie was prompt with communication and sorted it very quickly.

We as a company install AlphaESS as our first choice. The product looks great and the service and after-care is 2nd to none any problems we have always dealt with quickly and promptly. Jacek is always on hand when needed to help with any technical issues.

Excellent customer support during our first two installations. We came up against challenges to do with time and wireless access to the network for commissioning. We got put through to technical support and weee supported as all the way through the first install and it works like clockwork. The second install was an easier install and we were given a crib sheet which made this much easier. Thanks guys we are looking forward to our third and fourth installs now.

Buy Alpha ESS because they are priced well, perform well, look good and if you do need abit of support then they always respond pretty much immediately.

I was having trouble rectifying a fault on the system, i got in contact with alpha technical support and recieved help from an employee called Lewis Hall who was very helpful, he helped me rule out various potential issues and helped fix a few things that were wrong. All in good experience.

I’ve had my 10kw battery, solar panels and heat pump for a year. I’m very happy with the whole system, especially the battery storage, which enables me to charge overnight at cheap rate and discharge during the day, so my electricity bill is always in credit. I recently needed help with the overnight charging schedule and asked Alpha ESS for help. They diagnosed my problem right away, replied speedily and resolved my problem. Thank you

The system has worked really well since installed but experienced a fault which was quickly fixed by Lewis Hall. He was really helpful, talked me through reset and followed through on the final adjustments to the settings to get me back up and running - great work

Had my PV and Battery setup on Jan 14th 2026, AlphaEss UK did a quick update and reset to correct a problem, kit has been been running great, getting my head round using the App, which I must say is better than any other I have seen. I set up electricity rates and feed in etc, could not understand the inflated figures I was getting, looked at it many times but decided to ask Customer service thru the app, well they corrected my mistake.... Decimal point missing and informed me that all was now as should be in less than 30 mins.. 5 star company

Had my Alpha ESS system for 4 months now. Overall a very positive experience. Chose them based on positive YouTube reviews and their UK support staff and competitive pricing. I also like the modular nature of the kit which makes for a very neat install.
Support queries have been dealt with promptly - Joe in particular has been very helpful.
A decent, albeit not class leading user interface both web and mobile is another benefit.

I’ve had an Alpha ESS 8kw battery system for 14 months and had no problems at all with it. The app is really good because it's quick and information is easy to find. When I've needed advice I’ve used the app to contact Alpha support and you can tell the reply comes from a real person, none of that “Dearest customer” stuff.
I’ve since added solar panels to the system and the installers had nothing to do after plugging into the inverter because the system and the app just recognised the input from the panels and got on with the job.
The next bit is more complex. I had to replace my EV home charger due to the original company switching their app off. Alpha have a 7kw charger and I thought as previously it would just integrate itself because the control came via the inverter and the app.
What I didn’t know was that the charger should have included an Alpha ESS charging cable that wasn’t in the box. At that time I had a Kia EV with a genuine Kia cable.
I installed the charger and as I hoped, It was picked up by the inverter and the app straight away but It only charged at around 4.1 kw instead of near 7, back to Alpha support via the app - lots of things were suggested and tried but no joy. Then I changed my car to a Hyundai Ioniq 5 with a genuine Hyundai cable, still it only charged at around 4 kw. Via the alpha app I wrote a complaint (maybe it was a bit strong).
Very quickly I got a phone call from Alpha’s Jacek who asked me to send photos of the car's setup and of the writing on the charging cable. Minutes later Jacek rang back to say the cable would not supply the full charge and asked why wasn’t I using the Alpha cable? I explained about not having one and he said I’ll send you one and that’ll fix the problem. Next day the cable arrived, I plugged it in straight away and hey presto, just under 7 kw charge to the car.

We recently had a couple of AlphaESS G3 batteries & inverter installed. The system works great, and the app is very informative. I had misconfigured some charge/discharge settings, so I logged a ticket. Joe gave me a call and explained the settings and made some really helpful config suggestions to achieve my goals. Very helpful and appreciated. Thanks

Alpha ESS is a brand I’d recommend without a single doubt. Customer service is unmatched, Lucy has helped us on many occasions with any query no matter how small or big and has provided solutions within minutes!! Tech support is incredible helping our installers complete jobs without having to wait or spend hours commissioning. Cannot fault the brand nor the team in any way, would confidently recommend using their G3 range and B3+ for both installers and home owners!!!

Had issue with connectivity with my battery storage following installation of a new broadband router! Spent ages trying to sort it, a quick ticket on their online portal, Lewis called me in the morning had a chat, sent me a guide and presto all sorted. Just wish I had contacted him earlier!🤷🏼‍♂️
Excellent customer service.

I had an AlphaEss system fitted 2 years ago and it’s been a great system. I’ve contacted the support a few times for help (normally user error) and they have been quick to reply and resolved the issues.
Recently I’ve had a major failure where the power supply burnt out. This was an engineers error when Installing the system and so falls outside of the warranty.
Lewis at Alpha was brilliant! He identified the fault, on a phone call and with pictures and videos being sent.
Despite being outside of warranty AlphaEss supplied me the part free of charge and advised of local engineers to carry out the repair.
All the way through Lewis and the team have been great and even checked up after the work had been carried out to make sure everything was working and ok.
