Shocking Lack of Responsibility and Dismissive Attitude Toward Customers
I have been a loyal Alensa customer for a long time — but my recent experience has completely shattered my trust in this company.
The Acuvue Oasys lenses I received were clearly defective. From the moment I put them on, my vision was severely blurry. I reported the issue in detail, and even ordered a new pair of Bausch + Lomb lenses with the exact same prescription, also from Alensa — which worked perfectly.
Despite this clear indication that the issue was with the product and not my eyes, Alensa first tried to shift the blame onto my prescription, then went completely silent.
No solution. No apology. No refund. Nothing.
Even worse was the cold, dismissive tone of their responses — as if I was the one at fault for reporting a legitimate problem.
If a company can't take responsibility for something this obvious and treat their customers with basic respect, I see no reason to continue supporting them.
This was my last order from Alensa, and I will be sharing this experience across all review platforms.

In cases involving medical devices such as contact lenses, we are required - as also outlined in our Terms and Conditions - to request a valid prescription when investigating product-related complaints. This is not intended to shift responsibility, but rather to ensure that the lenses were ordered with the correct parameters and that the product is suitable for your specific needs. Each brand of contact lenses is unique, and not every type works for every individual, even with the same prescription.
We are also sorry if our communication came across as dismissive - that was certainly not our intention. We are reviewing the matter internally to ensure a better experience going forward.
If you’re still able to provide your valid prescription, we’d be happy to re-open the case and look into a solution.

Alensa store my prescription details which then makes it simple to choose which contact lenses i require without any faff. Ordering is therefore simple! Lenses always arrive within a couple of days from ordering them.

Price increase - have gone elsewhere for now
Was happy using this site but the price for the Acuvue lenses I buy has gone up from £17.39 to £23.95 (+ postage). I have checked a different well-known site I used to use and the price is approx. £5 less and the postage is Tracked 24 there also (instead of 2-4 business days).
I prefer the 'vibe' of Alensa but as these contact lenses are essentially the same, then why pay £5 more and wait longer?

The eye wash is very good, especially for those who wear contact lenses, but I also tried it on my whole face and it turned out to be very good, especially since it contains hyaluronic acid. I recommend it.
