Extremely disappointed to say the least. Driver arrived 30mn late and we missed our flight as a consequence. When you travel with a newborn, 2 toddlers and luggage this is enraging! Certainly won’t use in the future and will spread the word.

This company made me miss my flights. I booked for 3.30 am from north London to Gatwick. All was confirmed with emails and texts. At 3.39 I called them and the office strung me along saying they were almost there. Finally the driver arrived 45 minutes late. We lost four flights and £3500. Do not use this company. Also go by name airportdirect.org.

This company's service is disgraceful. In spite of threatening to cancel my prepaid booking if I dared to be more than 5 minutes late they were over 15 minutes late and saw nothing wrong with that expecting me to just stand and wait for their convenience.I had booked the taxi to get to appointment. When they didn't arrive I used an alternative method to get to that appointment. So they cancelled my booking because I wasn't standing there waiting for them. In addition when they were re-contacted and asked to pick me up at a new place they did not go to that place but parked several hundred metres away down a side street among other parked cars in an unmarked car, obviously expecting me to go looking for them. Nobody and particularly not a woman in mid 70s and on her own should be expected to do that. It is down right dangerous. When with the help of a colleague I did find them the driver was arrogant and rude and charged me again for the same service. They were unprofessional and rude and should not be trusted with your custom at all.

I booked and paid online after calling 4 times to confirm a car big enough to collect a family of four plus luggage to the airport at 04:30am. Taxi was late and when it arrived couldn’t fit us all in meaning ordering another taxi and having to pay double the price! Unbelievable stress. Imagine that as a start to your holiday in the middle of the night. They didn’t even refund us for the extra taxi necessary to get the airport. Terrible service, ignore emails - don’t book with them.

Booked a taxi in February to pick me up from the Killers Concert tomorrow night and they've just cancelled it 😦😦

40 minutes late for an airport pick-up when nothing special was happening on the roads - and I was the one calling them to get updates. For a company that supposedly specialises in airport transfers, that is unacceptable.

we ordered a mpv for 5 adults and a child this company sent a 4 seater focus and told us that a 7 seater would collect us in 1 hour and appologised. we rang back and they said that 4 people should have taken the taxi and the other 2 should have gone by train to london and get other trains from their. we are from ireland and dont know trains so we ordered another taxi at last minute and so it cost us £100 more. the operator was very argumentative, abnoxious and rude order a reliable service and refused to ever send a 7 seater taxi.

I booked with Airport 1st to collect my parents from Gatwick in the snow. They called me back to let me know their flight was delayed and let me know when the driver had met my parents in arrivals. We were more than happy with the service which was also £14 cheaper than any of the other 5 taxi companies I called. I highly recomment this company.

I have used this company for over 4 years and have found it head and shoulders above any other cab companies, including Addison Lee.

The drivers are always respectful, friendly and in the main punctual. When travelling alone I feel safe which is essential being a woman.

Worst experience. Avoid. they just aim to squeeze money out. i booked for arrival pick up. first they save money on parking waiting on departures side, having said first 40 minutes is free, charged me £7 for 20 minutes waiting after the time given on booking. driver was abusive, on argument started shouting out loud. crooks.

I booked a cab with this company for 4am to take me to Gatwick - the cab finally came at 4.40am after I called repeatedly to complain and ask what the problem was. I was told the cab was on its way. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU DONT WANT TO MISS YOUR FLIGHT
