Non Solicited Approach!
Had a mail shot, complete with glossy brochure and letter, sent to a random name at my address. As I’ve been at my address for MANY years, I opened it.
Thanking me (wrong name), for my equity release enquiry on 28th May, complete with a customer ID number, (I have never enquired), stating my age, (which was also an incorrect guess).
What a disgusting piece of marketing. I don’t like this approach at all. I opened the letter in case our address was being used for some kind of fraudulent practice.
I emailed my complaint, but of course had no response. Wouldn’t go near a company who does this. I genuinely thought that someone was using my address for fraudulent business.

A one pound error in the documentation…
A one pound error in the documentation offer means more delays and we are still waiting for correction documentation - the original offer was signed and returned in the envelope provided to meet the evening collection time on 14 May 2026. Very frustrating!

The process was a bit complicated to start with but my case manager Marli Allen, was very good at patiently explaining it all to me multiple times. In the end I was happy with the outcome. I would recommend that anyone thinking of equity release finds out everything they can about it before going ahead.

A reassuring helping hand.
From the very beginning of the process the Staff were most helpful. It was as if they were aware that I was apprehensive and went out of their way, without making me feel that I was an idiot, to ensure that I understood every step of the process.
