After finding concerns with my existing property insurer online (poor claims response history, rising premiums) I started searching for alternatives. I was drawn to Adler & Rochefort because they were comfortable with English communication (my Portuguese is muito mal so far!) and worked with second/vacation home owners. It was reassuring that I was asked for specific information about the property and my needs, with follow-up, before a quote was obtained. I had been trying to arrange private health insurance in Portugal for almost a week and was getting nowhere. From the moment I contacted Adler & Rochefort, everything became so much easier.
Hugo was incredibly quick, responsive, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly, answered every question I had, and made sure I had the documents I needed. Even when the official payment receipt was still being processed, he went the extra mile and prepared a formal confirmation of payment for me in the meantime.
