Recently had my child at adhd direct for an assessment. The woman was lovely and very understanding to our concerns as to getting our daughter to sit for such a long period of time. Beforehand had sorted all the details for when my daughter is settled on medication for shared care to be taken over which adhd direct we’re happy to help with. We have our first medication review coming up and hoping it stays positive on terms of helping my daughter,

Professional quick service
My son was seen quickly, communication was very clear throughout the process, the assessment itself was non-threatening and the outcomes were explained clearly. The assessment room itself was too hot but I am aware the building is having issues with the heating so not directly ADHD Directs fault!

Horribly ran company from the owners…
Horribly ran company from the owners themselves all the other staff are lovely and are the ones making this place even still able to run, managers are so out of touch and pretentious , I went on to the staff reviews (the ones who would know the reality of the company) some even still current members and not one good review in sight speaks volumes !! I’ve spoke to over 8 different managers last year who all apparently left as the next one told me and that followed for about 8 different ones clearly an issue within the company avoid the owners do not care and are just there to make as much money as possible off peoples needs as they are aware of the nhs pressure and know desperate people will then go to them so charge absurd money just for a chat Sickening !!(also have a bbc article about them which is free to read ) can read staff reviews on indeed

After years of being failed by the NHS…
After years of being failed by the NHS at last a body of professionals that can and do actually help.
Don’t understand the negative reviews, in my experience they have been first rate.
Always quick to help and answer emails and a quick and life changing diagnosis.
If you can afford it, don’t hesitate. The NHS won’t help you.

Not neurodivergent friendly
Although pleasant to your face they are an underwhelming, tick box poorly organised and deficit based organisation who seems to delegate to nurses instead of psychologists despite the cost. If you want a balanced diagnosis experience that doesn't pick up where school let off with small t trauma, maybe a friend to the neurodivergent community or someone who can support you or your child through a diagnosis I'd definitely find somewhere that understands difference is not a deficiency.
They are very under educated in modern neurodivergent thinking and unaware of anything beyond a problem centered narrative. This issue could have been managed with the most basic of educations from the neurodivergent community (their clients).
They also make appointments a year out, change them the week prior via emails that easily go to spam and use systems to offer amendments and acceptance that are impossible to access. Off the back of the impossible to attend appointments they write to your GP the next day(!) to say tut tut you didn't attend! Aggressive and strange beyond belief. So after being told I can't finish things and I'm stupid despite my five degrees and successful business career I'm being told off by a nurse who can't use a telephone. All and all I'd go to someone who doesn't knee jerk act like you're a naughty broken kid at the age of 50 if I could chose again.

Have to say, I’m struggling to understand the poor reviews here. This clinic saved me from an appalling rut I was in. My review is below:
I cannot recommend ADHD Direct enough! I had a diabolical experience with ADHD 360 who were the ones who provided my diagnosis and medication. They were appalling and because of them, I couldn't access medication.
However, I transferred my care to ADHD Direct and honestly, they've done everything possible to get me back on track. They respond so quickly, provide such fantastic care, and I no longer feel like I am battling this on my own. I also don't feel as if I'm being patronised or gaslit like the former clinic I was with. I feel respected as a patient.
Their prices are so much more reasonable than other clinics, and I just can't fault them. Thank you for restoring my faith again in ADHD Treatment. I no longer feel like I'm just a number.
Dr Georgina Brown has been wonderful, and the reception team are lovely.

Poor customer service. Impossible to reach
I booked an appointment but never received any response, even though I sent the confirmation almost a week ago.
I phoned the contact number to ask what was going on and was put on hold for 6 minutes and then hung up on. I then called back again, confused and the receptionist promised to follow up and get back to me, but she never did. I even had to reschedule my own clients to make time for the appointment, only to be completely stood up and ignored.
The whole experience was both confusing and highly unprofessional. Especially because I paid a lot of money for the service. I expect to be dealt with in a professional manner. This is really unacceptable and disappointing. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere if you want to be treated with respect.

Shocking disgraceful treatment
Terrible care from adhd direct. Impossible to get hold of anybody. Sent medication in the post, no plan of what to do next. Spent a whole week stressing trying to get through on the phone and email, even Facebook at one point as I was so desperate to speak to somebody. I've just found out they have discharged me now as I complained about my care, great conflict resolution adhd direct! Unfortunately my assessment is worthless and no other organisation or my GP recognise it as a valid diagnosis as it's done by a nurse. Very stressful, upsetting and expensive mistake by using this company. Do your research. They are prescribing controlled drugs with no proper checks, never once asked me how my treatment was going and no plan on renewing prescription, you have to keep paying for medication reviews that are £35 to £80 then the private prescription and then the actual medication. Disgustingly gross company taking advantage of vulnerable patients desperate for support and help. Stay away !!!

Misleading Advice
This company should make it apparent that before you book and pay in full you should check with your GP practice that they are willing to share care.
We found ourselves in the position that after paying in full our practice refused to work with this company and we now need to pay for another asssessment with a reputable company.
The very busy website is not clear and you really would need to dig to find their covering content.

Got tested for ADHD over there recently…
Got tested for ADHD over there recently after waiting for my NHS assessment for more than 10 month!
My assessment with ADHD Direct was super easy and straightforward, they have collected the forms from the required people who knew me and the main face-to-face assessment was around 2 hours long in their office in Glasgow.
They were very professional and asked a lot of questions, and after completing everything they gave me the diagnosis on that same day.
I didn’t have to wait and they also explained how I can manage my condition and what it all means. I paid total around £900 for the face-to-face assessment and all of the diagnostic questionnaires they had to process.
I have received my diagnosis letter along with my prescription and ,after establishing the dose , I was told I can request my GP to take over the management of my medication ( means I won’t have to pay).
I’m very happy with my experience so far
