The most difficult site to cancel the free trial. Has all the markings of a scam...avoid.

If I could give a negative number, I would. Signed up for monthly fee, charged me the annual amount which sent me into overdraft. Could take my money very easily, but couldn't help me at all on reimbursement from their error. Don't waste your time or surrender your CC information with this shady business.

I was watching a show, loved it then it skipped two seasons and the only reason was a time lapse for those two to be picked up. Not the only show that didn't end but it's still advertised as noteworthy, queens of mystery no ending, inspector Ellis, a remarkable place to die no endings at all wasted my time

i watched 26 episodes of summertide with no issues with cc, then episode 27 no cc. happens with other series also

When I paid yearly subscription for $99.99.

I was charged THREE times by Acrontv.

It is two weeks, and I have NOT been refunded my $200.00

I Love Acorn TV. I disagree with the customer service model. I as a former customer, happy with services, was being charged for 1 year on an account and I didn't use Acorn at all. The account was long deleted. I explained this to Acorn to stop charges immediately! They did but I'm not satisfied because I got zero refund or offer for it. For that I won't sign up again. Spoke with Rep Angela online chat today 6/16. Nice rep but no refund offer.

Terrible service. The app freezes when fast forward and reverse are used. The continuing watching never clears after finishing a program. I’ve been in communication for over a year about these issues, but nothing is ever resolved. It’s a substandard viewing experience! All the other streaming apps allow removal of continuous watching and don’t freeze. The technology is available to improve the app, but apparently the company doesn’t want to improve their performance.

Acorn TV is a company run by immoral and unethical sociopaths. After I cancelled my subscription in 6/25, they of course disallowed me use of their website, but still kept charging me, every month. I finally got it to stop by making a claim at my bank. Of course they answered no emails. They are scumbags. I would never recommend you sign up to their company. Run away. Avoid them! Go to Britbox.

What happened to the Acorn I loved? Today wanting something other than crime I checked the catagory "want something other than crime?? Three choices..first one was crime. They have lost the plot. Made a big mistake in buying annual membership..will NOT renew.

A terrible experience. Acorn cannot improve their continued years of scamming. Foolish am I to want to follow a series & sign up again × 6 months.
My cancellation of subscription last February, 2026 with a confirmation number. Was ignored.
They disregarded & charged me for March and April. Only for them to try & withdraw again for May!
In March, my bank advised me to put a stop payment on April costing me $12. Mistake, it went thru anyway. So I then had to change my bank card.
- And streaming.... so many movies/shows are not recognised as advertised in Canada.
I will never recommend a positive review for Acorn. Very disappointing.

So, signed on for Brokenenwood Mystery series, paid for it and now ACORN doesn't recognize the information. 1.5 on TRUSTPILOT about sums it up. Too bad, I liked the only episode I ever saw.

Dreadful. App doesn't work more than it does work. Can't use it at all on my.phone. tried customer service. They created a 'ticket' and that's the last I heard of them.

Est ce que vous regardez les autres chaînes parce qu'elles font la même chose.

Can't access shows. Acorn locks up and Can't watch shows have to sign in and out and no customer service. Sometimes locked out for 24 hours. Too much trouble, not worth it.

I just find that there is a limited number of tv shows I like and new shows not added very often. Sometimes there is difficulty with the streaming from a technical perspective. A very disappointing streaming service.

I find Acorn TV annoying. Technical and Customer Support is awful. I'm being charged annually as well as monthly. What a scam! Can not get support online.

I can't see any shows because too many people are logged into Acorn TV!!!!!!! What is wrong with your technology????????? I am paying to log in. This happens a lot. Useless subscription!!!!

After only 2 months into my paid annual subscription my viewing service was interrupted by an apparent technical error on the part of AcornTV. I was denied a refund of the remaining 10 months I'd paid for, nor was any curtesy of being a valued subscriber for over 3 years acknowledged. Nothing had changed with either Roku or my internet provider, so it was determined to be an AcornTV issue. It's been over a month since my last email to support and accounting; they have not responded.

Don't fall for the "free month" scam when you cancel. On 10/30/25 I decided to cancel because I had watched all of the shows I liked. There is not a huge selection. I proceeded with the cancellation and then got an offer for a free month if I signed back up immediately. The offer indicated that my next billing would be 12/3/25 which looked like a free month. I signed back up immediately and checked my bank account today and there was a charge from Acorn. It was a scam to get me to pay another month, not give me a free month. And of course there is no way to contact them.

I liked the free trial nice shows but make it impossible to cancel could not figure out took me a good hour of googling it ridiculous.
