I completed the coaching certificate, and it was a very well-organised program. The lecturers were amazing. The support provided by ACAP is superior to that of any other university I have experienced.

Completed Masters in Counselling & Psychotherapy at ACAP. Had a great experience and enjoyed my time while studying. Great to see so many more courses now available and would highly recommend to anyone interested in pursuing further studies.

There are no gender diversity in supporting the student.

The lecturers mostly not understood about culture's outside of Australia.

Always discourage feedback on international students.

Most female lecturers too much emphasizing on female, non binary and LGBTQI opinion rather than general opinion.

Male students can't be transparent on their opinion.

Expensive tuition fees for nothing.

Not good student support.

Would not recommend ACAP-
I found them to be overpriced and mostly interested in taking money rather than supporting students. Quality of teaching was not good. Not well regarded by the industry.
Lots of systemic issues and poor customer service. Most recent eg -have been trying for a while to get them to send me a simple letter regarding my Bachelors with them (to confirm I did the program in person, which I need for professional registrations) and they say they do not have that information on file that I attended in person, their records don’t specify whether my courses were online or in person, so they can’t give to me, so I can’t get the relevant registration.

I really loved coming to do my masters. It was a very graceful experience and the teachers were very helpful. Now I am a social worker and I love it . I believe that it is because I had a really good foundation.

Valuable interactions with students who are working or studying to be in the various human services sectors. The Lecturers and staff are so supportive to allow students to complete their studies,

Enjoyed my time at ACAP. Very professional and i learnt from fantastic teachers.

I've already written a review, but read many others now. I will say that practical placement is a challenge at every university, not just ACAP. The best way to get a placement is to get a job in a relevant organization and find your own, I did that and it worked fine. As an employer of counselors, psychologists and social workers, I have a number of students on placement from universities and admit it is a challenge for service providers, as we have a duty care to clients. I've lectured at ACAP and universities in Australia and overseas and I will say that if you expect to be spoon fed, maybe choose a different career. Working with clients isn't a text book journey, it's very different and challenging. The only thing you'll get spoon fed is challenge after challenge, but then that's the nature of working with the human condition.

As a mature age student who did not finish school, I found ACAP provided a welcoming learning environment, and a practical, hands on way to learn. I felt well supported during my study for a Degree in Counselling. I have since found part-time employment using my new skills.

The campus is spacious with complete facilities for whatever the students need. The staff members from the admin, librarian and most importantly the facilitators/mentors/educators are most helpful, understanding and good listeners.

Clear instruction and information made the course purposeful and constructive.
A hands-on placement gave me real life work experience and career advancement.
The staff were all supportive.

There's no magic in getting the inside world with intelligence. ACAP's just doing that with the training nights, & I am able to attend after work. Such arrangement is nowhere to be seen. Keep up with the good work, it is one of the most supportive organization that I've ever known.

I did not like the way overseas students were treated and supported.
ACAP charged a lot of money for academic fees but gave poor support to overseas student that were struggling to settle and connect them with support services

My journey at ACAP began in 2018 as an international student. After completing the Bachelor of Counselling Coaching, gaining work experience, and obtaining permanent residency, I returned to ACAP in 2023 to continue my studies in psychology as a domestic student. Having studied at ACAP as both an international and domestic student over several years, I can say that I had an overall positive experience, especially during my Bachelor's studies, where classes (lectures and tutorials) were offered face-to-face. During the Grad Dip, unfortunately, the lectures are pre-recorded, which makes learning more challenging. However, most tutorials are offered face-to-face, and the educators are engaging and available to help if needed.

Friendly environment, good teachers and excellent location

I was searching for a recognised qualification in Life Coaching and discovered a course with ACAP that had coaching as a minor to a Bachelor of Counselling. This 3 year degree, I was able to complete part-time in 3 and a half years and has been invaluable in and paramount to my employment with Lifeline Australia in community crisis work. I also have my own practice, and this qualification has enabled me to pursue my passion in behavioural science with professionalism and confidence.
