I have been practicing yoga for the last 5 years on and off and I wanted to complete a 200H YTTC to deepen my practice and knowledge, without many expectations. I was lucky enough to follow the recommendation of a dear friend that did the course here a few years back. It saved me a lot of time, because finding the right school can be a tough mission. So I hope to help you save some of your time too:

- Teachers are so knowledgeable and humble. I have been learning so much from every single topic (Pranayama, Philosophy, Anatomy, Ashtanga, Hatha and Alignment and Teaching Methodology, Prenatal) in a very approachable, professional, encouraging and caring way from all of them. Some of my colleagues were already professional yoga teachers and many things taught were completely new to them (as to me). Absolutely heads up to Sonu Ji (Hatha, Alignment and Teacher Methodology teacher) that is by far the most passionate, patient and loving teacher I ever had the pleasure to meet and learn from, in my life!

- Accommodation is humble, clean and well taken care of. Private bathroom, hot water and laundry room available. Any issues you might face will be sorted in a blink of an eye. The food is delicious and well prepared, served 3 times a day to boost your practice. Also if as a Western you ever feel like you need a break from Indian food, you have Mamma Mia Inn literally 1 minute away from the school, with the most tasty food deliciously cooked by really talented chefs and super affordable.

- Management is ALWAYS available 24/7 for any enquiry or issue that you might have. And I really really want to highlight that this is before, during and after the course. They help me with accommodation after the graduation, visa issues, recommendations, transport, etc. I can openly say that 7 Chakras Yoga School Rishikesh is more than a school, is home. And the amazing people that run it are family to me now: Sandeep, Sanyeev, Ankit, Gopal and all the boys, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you guys have done for us.

- Really positive environment during the whole month. It can get quite intense with the tight schedule and constant practice, but both students and management managed to create a real safe space where I can truly say I connected with so many pure souls that will be friends for life.

Little did I know when I came to 7 Chakras Yoga School Rishikesh that this experience will completely change me and my life from now on. I consider myself a yoga student and practitioner now with the responsibility to keep working on my self-practice/study, sharing knowledge and spreading beautiful yogic energy to everyone around me. And that is only because you made me believe is possible.

I had completed my YTTC 200 Hours in 7 Chakras yoga school. Really good experience learning from expert yoga teachers. Theory sessions of philosophy and anatomy were very engaging and mentally stimulating. Professional and helpful staff made the stay comfortable. Mr. Ankit & Mr. Sanjeev both are very cooperative. ABSOLUTELY LIFE CHANGING!!!

Beyond grateful I chose 7 chakras yoga school to complete my 500 hour yoga certificate program. From the moment I arrived I was treated like family. The management and staff will do anything to make you comfortable and happy!!

The food is delicious - I am vegan, as were others, and the chefs will lovingly accommodate.

WOW!!!!!! The teachers are the ABSOLUTE BEST in Rishikesh! This was confirmed by many of my classmates that had tried other schools in the area. If you want the finest class experience you simply have to choose 7 chakras.

Now being back in United States I feel more alive, grateful, and connected than I have ever felt in my life. I made life long friends that feel like family during my 2 months stay at 7 chakras. It was the best decision I have ever made and wish the same for others.

It was such an amazing experience. I was expecting a lot from it and in end I got even more. They treat you like you're part of the family which is great. It was not only a learning experience but also a life changing one for me. The teachers and the administration are just awesome. Hands down the best philosophy class I have ever had. Studying at the 7 Chakras Yoga School was one of the most transformative experiences in my life. I wanted to go to Rishikesh to study Yoga at its source. I knew that I was going to improve my physical practice, but I had no idea how much I was going to grow mentally and spiritually. All of the instructors were not just knowledgeable, but also vastly experienced. They were very passionate about teaching, which was abundantly clear in the way they conducted classes. Every teacher readily stayed up to 15 minutes after class to continue the discussion or take questions about anything covered in their classes. The facilities were good. Nothing fancy, but all the essentials were there. Trust me; given how much time we spent training, all one needs at the end of the day is a shower and a bed. The staff was also very diligent about keeping all the common areas clean. The food was fantastic and plentiful. The chef clearly prepared meals to provide all the required sustenance for the amount of energy we used in a day. Despite the fact that it was healthy, it was quite delicious. The meals were so good in fact, I've since become vegetarian. The location was quite ideal. There are stunning views of both the foothills and Tapovan from the Yoga Hall. Plenty of shops and cafes surround the accommodation, and it's only a 10 minute walk to the beautiful and healing Ganga River. I will return for my YTT300.

Very important is you will be safe 100%.

I’ve done my 500YTTC in August. I really like teachers, they are brilliant. Accommodation need some upgrade but this’s India and to tell the truth I have no idea how is the situation in other yoga schools in Rishikesh. Anyway there’s an options available u can live alone or w/ roommate, w/ AC or without. Don’t expect there will be the service like in Bali)) If we are talking about price-quality ratio then price=quality and in quality I mean mostly knowledge you will get. And if your target is to teach after then I would definitely recommend 500h because it will give you really deep, detailed knowledge and understanding what yoga is. Food: if you like spicy food you will like the food in school otherwise there’s lots of cafe around there you can choose the food which your stomach will be ok with, like I did because spicy food is a big issue for me.

I have completed 500hr from here... This is the best decision I have ever taken. The faculty and management are awesome. You will definitely get what you are seeking for, and if i am talking about teachers, they are the best. Sonu ji , Sachin ji, Lata ji and Mahesh ji, are very good, supportive, and motivating. In short, they are best in their field. They answered all of my questions and helped me to understand correct alignment and asan,

Apart from the teachers, all the management is very cool and awesome. Ankit ji, Gopal ji , Sanjeev ji and Sandeep ji, are very helpful and they are exactly like family. Their behaviour towards all students is very polite, kind and supportive.

Other than that, the food staff was very generous and they made and served tasty food.

My experience was very good and satisfying and worth it. Thank you everyone

I did my 200 hour teacher training here in June 2022... where do I start? I think was one of the best experiences of my life on some many levels, it felt kind of bittersweet going back home...all went so fast that seemed like a dream :( Since the beginning, the management made me feel like a member of the family and always ensured I was settled and at ease throughout my stay. My yoga practice took a big shift and I never realised until now what practicing yoga really means! The teachers are so full of knowledge, so graceful and humble at the same time. I was amazed by their patience and dedication towards their students, I could never miss a class as I didn't want to miss a single word of their teachings. Thanks to them I discovered new layers of myself, of my mind, body and soul... I understood what the real essence of a yoga teacher should be, who a "Guru" really is. And finally, I met the most amazing yogis on the same path as I was and we had such a good time together in class and outside <3 I feel of course it's not over and planning to come back for the 300 soon! LOVED ALL OF IT and miss you guys!
