Hey Mikayla this is Andrew I really like my car.i do thank you for everything you did you got me the best of best deal that you think was right in my situation.i give you credit for that 👍 but when actually buying a car you should be able to take it for test drive..doesn’t matter if it’s coming from the North Pole..plus signing papers seeing pictures is nothing.i just got my car today so far so good 👍 IT handled nicely on the highway.I told Nayer that I would do this review.Thanks for helping me.AND Take a Vacation….🍻🍻🥳

Last year I bought a car at 401auto at Hamilton location I can tell it was not the best experience.

****recently last week someone from the renewal dept called me saying they could help me to reduce the interest I'm paying now, I was happy and later on **** Andrea Rodriguez**** called me saying the way to help me reducing interest was trading in my car and get another one



I said to Andrea I would like to have a brand new SUV but she said it was not possible but she offer me a 2021 subaru because according to her that car will absorb the negative equity of my current vehicle I was not sure about it so I refused because I preferred a brand new car.



next day Andrea called me again saying she got me a better deal, so I went again to ****401Auto on Upper James in Hamilton**** and ****Brian, her manager**** was waiting for me to explain me the same situation about the used subaru, but this time he said he will give me a car that worth's $30,000 at the price of $19,000 this way this car will absorb the $11,000 of negative equity of my current car once I understood the situation I said yes. but



Surprise!



when I started singing the documents I realize that after all the explanation from the "Manager" they wanted to charge $16,000 of negative equity of my current vehicle plus $30,000 of the used subaru.



when I saw that I told Andrea it was not what Brian and me discussed before so this time she went for such a rude guy I think his name was ****Kevin**** he came to me and started talking rude to me trying to intimidate me to sing, I got scared I just ask Andrea for my documents and ran away from there, my wife and kids saw that, I am very disappointed, frustrated for being unable to do anything.



I hope someone can read this and think twice before buying from 401Auto Hamilton

I think this kind of salespersons shouldn't have a license, they are not salespersons they are thieves.

I was actually approved! I was getting a car after so long. No more asking for grocery runs, isolation. Living in a country village, we lack public transportation. Even taxis charge extra $30 to come out here!
ugh.

Not that I have not been financially stressed since, but I do have - freedom, security, enjoyment that driving gives me & that almost balances the stress. Almost.
My contact was excellent. Dylan was clear, helpful, encouraging... Communication frequent, questions & fears, answered & quelled. Really do what they claim.

I purchased a 2017 BMW from 401auto.ca and got
subprime financing on the automobile. Now, 18 months later, the coolant system has a major malfunction and when I took it took my trusted garage, I was informed that someone had worked on the cooling system before -- but more importantly that the compressors were failing. It was going to cost me $6k to $10k to fix this car,
I am now stuck with a car I cannot afford to fix, but cannot trade in; one I have -negative equity in. Thanks 401auto.ca for the positive car experience---NOT!
And the sad part is that 401auto.ca seems to be buying up dealerships left-right and centre throughout Eastern and Southern Ontario. Monopoly, anyone?

RUN AWAY from this place. I don't know if they get their inventory from auctions or car rental agencies. They text you/ contact you every 10 minutes to get to to sign their contracts (that you cant think over.....you have to consent on the phone that very minute)....send in paperwork....HOWEVER once signed, you're dead to them. I had multiple issues with my car......constant back and forth.....When I first emailed my :so called: sales rep AMANDA-not my department, anything but LOVELY (online sales mgr) - about the issues ive noticed/came across, within 48 hrs of ownership.....I was told "not my department" and didnt redirect me or anything....it took multiple reviews and complaints until their PR person reached out and helped best she could. This was during covid....so I couldn't view in person before buying and was sent "angled" pictures via email. In the end, 9 months I sold the car and paid out my contract to rid myself of the 401 DISASTER
