Just lost a loyal customer, never coming back!
I had hired a mini van for Easter week to take our children and their friends for their birthday trip we have been planning for nearly a year. I was told there would be no one in the office on Easter bank holiday Friday so just to drop the key into a shoot. We had a really bad luck coming back on Friday, being stacked on a motorway for hours and children being sick. We didn’t manage to come back until late evening hours. I have returned the van by 10 am following morning and have been charged a full day rent!!!! £100 for couple of hours late return. I had been renting from first call in Stonehouse for years, being their loyal customer. The man at customers desk had a really rude snarky remarks and attitude towards myself. I will never come back ever again, you have just lost a loyal customer. It was not necessary to be so rude and charged me a whole day rental instead of couple of hours late return due to unforeseen circumstances. Next time I will hire from MVR, the customer service here is outstanding and they value their customers here.
