I went to my Delta Dental HMO assigned dentist to get a basic cleaning. I left with an estimate for over $6,000 (my out of pocket cost) of dental work, including a very elaborate cleaning that required another visit. I told that dentist that I would get a second opinion. I went to Dr. Tan and learned that my existing crowns and gums were within his acceptable criteria. I explained to him my prior experience, and he said that dentistry can sometimes be subjective. He then sent me to another chair in his office for me to get my basic cleaning from his hygienist. Turning to Dr. Tan was one of the best things I did in 2024!

I have had trouble finding a trustworthy dentist - one charged me more after giving me a quote for the cost, one didn't numb me enough for a filling and I felt pain, one missed root canal needs in an annual visit. So yeah pretty bad luck. Today I picked this place because they were in network near my workplace. When I arrived, they tell me the panoramic xray is not covered and will be $88. I debated paying it but since it's a new dentist, kind of the cost of starting new. I decide ok to pay. They do the panoramic and the other x-rays. After all of that is finished they tell me I will owe $230 in total, for an annual visit that is in network. The collective xrays were $140 so i just decided to pay that leave. I don't trust them so why would I stay. Be wary of this place, they look to charge you regardless of insurance. I have NEVER been charged this much for just a basic annual visit.

My partial plate needed a slight realignment. Dr. Mayberry did not place it in my mouth to determine how to adjust it. He simply moved the support wire and broke it off. Later he said the partial plate was broken when I brought it in. That was a lie. It was fully intact. Lakeside Dental has negative feedback on Yelp and other sites. Lakeside Dental causes frustration in billing, setting appointments and preparing patients for their treatment. I was instructed to take medication prior to my appointment having had recent surgeries. Upon arrival, I was told my appointment this day was a consultation only. Yet I was texted to take these meds one hour before arrival. The frustration is endless. The practice has inexperienced dentists and a constant turnover in staffing. This business is to be avoided.

It was 8:PM on the night before my cruise. I lost my upper tooth crown in the middle of eating dinner. I was painful and so nervous. I called Dr. Jason Kung. He admitted me to his office without delay and checked on me immediately. Dr. Kung and his staff were accommodating and helped to take care of my tooth and the crown painlessly within 45 minutes. With Dr. Kung and his staff's urgent and excellent care, I could travel and enjoy eating during the cruise. Thank you for Dr. Kung's kindness and care. I highly recommend this group wholeheartedly.

Stay away unproductive staff my gums are infected know listen become ill I could of died they make to many mistakes their Dentist .Management shame on you.

Wasn’t experience I was expecting.
Had to get reappointed times due to their miss schedule.

The online form didn’t send any response on quotation request, I had to use wisdomtoothextraction.net to get the information they should have provided online.

Overall, the doctor I met handled my situation well, just that they lack customer care.

Tried using their webform for a dentist recommendation twice, both times never got a response. Three months ago was my first attempt, and my second was about one month ago. Why even have a webform if you're not going to respond to customers who use it? I went with Zocdoc instead.

The rep. was competent, covered all the basis, and her English was not bad. But the company is up to no good because they have her do this hard sales attention stealing scheme of asking tons of irrelevant questions, then say they have to transfer you .... to a rep. who will help you and that person only identify that it is Aspen Dental when pressed.

1-800- DENTIST is a time wasting bait and switch company which, if they did identify as Aspen Dental knows many would terminate the call. NO reputable company has to sneak their way into your need like
that. Very dirty operation where deception is a necessary tool for them to use.

Horrible! First off the customer service is bad. They act slow (or maybe nonchalant is a better word) as if English is not the primary language used here in America. They then want every bit of your information before even telling you if they've found someone for you.

So they recommend a dentist chain called Aspen Dental that could take me the next day. I specifically told them I had a veneer that fell off that needed to be cemented back on. So they finally tell me they have someone on the line that does what I need done and will assist me. I tell them what I needed once again just in case. Their website says they do veneers also (even though I all I needed is my current veneer bonded back on. Fast forward I come into the office the next day. I wait for over an hour before I'm asked to come to the back for X-rays. They ask what I'm having done...I tell them and then I'm told for the first time "we don't even do veneers here!" I couldn't believe it.

So since I'm now pressed for time trying to find another office that might be able to take me last minute, one of the lady's there begin calling tirelessly several local dental offices to see who might be able to help me on such short notice. We had no luck at all, in fact, most places she called didn't even do veneers so they wouldn't have the necessary tools and product to glue my tooth back on.

They are very friendly there but the dental office shouldn't have made me wait over an hour before confirming what I was having done. In fact, they could have called me before I left home.

But had 1-800 Dentist did a better job making sure the dental office truly did all the services stated on their website (like veneers)...I wouldn't have ever made an appointment. Which means I may have had a chance to find someone else so that I didn't waste an entire day on my day off.

Awful company that pays for misleading ads to get calls. Just use the American dental association instead of 1800 dentist. When called to complain was lied to more told I called the wrong number that it was not the number on their site and hung up on. Been poorly treated! This company doesn’t deserve business! Find your own dentist without them

WARNING! The Airport Dental Centre in Oshawa is the worst Dental Clinic in the Country. They routinely charge over 100% more than the other clinics. When questioned they become abusive. We were billed $250 for basic cleaning, no polishing.

These 1800dentist operators are rude and I’ll never use them again. They recommended me Dr. Omid Shayan. He’s an awful dentist and I have dental work that I can’t finish because I refuse to go back. Thousands of dollars are wasted now. But no way am I going back to Dr. Shayan
