Better off buying online sadly
****update**** After sales and delivery service from Paddy has been top class. Refunded difference and paid for a cable the soundbar also. Very kind and attentive**Went into store and bought a tv even though it was £100 more than online as I wanted the personal approach. The personal approach consisted of getting the tv 3 days later on a day we didn’t agree and me needing to take time off. The delivery then arrived at 8:30pm and they called 1.5 hours before delivery saying they were 30 mins away. Not a great service. Better off buying online.

I was of course concerned to read your review and have since investigated, disappointingly the initial issue was a colleague mistake which albeit are sometimes inevitable, was totally avoidable. It appears they promised a date for delivery for which couldn’t actually be achieved, and obviously the courier calling too early on the date you had reluctantly accepted with them, simply added to your frustration. Please accept my apologies for what has happened and my assurances that lessons will be learnt as a result.
In the meantime, either myself or a senior team member will be in touch with you to put this right. Hopefully you can see from the tens of thousands of happy customers on Trustpilot that such human errors are thankfully rare, and I'm very sorry we let you down on this occasion.

Staff were helpful and polite
Staff were helpful and polite. I have no issues with that side of my purchase.
The problem is with the location of your Sheffield store. It is in an area with very limited parking and many resident parking restrictions. Traffic is always a problem too due to its location and close proximity to hospitals. This makes collection of items very awkward indeed. Ideally , you should move to a more accessible site

We do understand the points you’ve raised around the store’s location. Being close to the city centre does bring some challenges in terms of traffic at busy times; however, there are a number of nearby parking options, including bays on Moor Oaks Road and Parker’s Lane car park just a short walk away and we’re always happy to reimburse parking costs for our customers.
Of course, we appreciate that getting into store isn’t always the most convenient option for everyone, which is why we also offer a full telesales service along with home delivery, so you can still get the same expert advice.

On delivery only one person delivered the product. Which he managed but it was a 65 inch tv. It was really heavy , really needed a second person

My 5 year old TV broke and parts could…
My 5 year old TV broke and parts could not be obtained as it was now discontinued, a gift voucher towards a replacement reflected on the value of my broken TV was offered to which I happily accepted, I went into the Sheffield branch and purchased a replacement using the voucher as part payment which arrived the following day with a 6 year guarantee.
Everyone involved in this process from the repair team admin, sales staff and delivery were excellent and friendly.
I am more than happy with the replacement TV I purchased as it was virtually the same as the previous one but lighter and has a better screen.
This experience has reinforced the reasoning why I only ever buy from and recommend to others Richer Sounds.

Excellent service all round
Excellent service all round. Price matched at a very good price. Great communication throughouT. Sales staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. This is the second TV we have bought from Richer sounds. The six year warranty gives peace of mind. We had to have a repair on our previous TV. The service was good. Pick up from home and delivered back in good time. Highly recommend Richer Sounds.
