Amazing customer service, wanted to upgrade my stereo system after I blew up the old JBL’s, let me bring my amp into the store to try different speakers, borrow kit to test at home - where it will sound very different! Still working on matching that perfect Sub to fill out my new Wharfendales but couldn’t be happier with Simon, Tim and the rest of the guys.

I recently purchased an ex-demo Pro-Ject X1 B turntable and a new pair of Ruark MR1 Mk3 speakers from Simon at the Chiswick store. Simon was the model salesman—highly professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He delivered on all his promises, and the order arrived exactly when agreed upon. He was very helpful with the packaging and ensured all the details were correct. It’s clear he takes great pride in both the equipment he sells and his customer service. He was even on hand to offer excellent advice when I encountered a few issues setting up the equipment, which were quickly resolved with his help. I am very impressed and highly recommend him!

Bought Panasonic 550 recorder last week from Chiswick he didn’t tell us it’s old tech from 2015 and found out because program guide is very slow doesn’t go well with Panasonic z95b tv. I’m told it’s slow by everyone because it’s outdated now and feels it when you have £3000 flagship tv so disappointing 12/4/26

Great, friendly and competent staff. If there is something to improve, it is how I was kept updated on the product that was not available (I wasn’t). That was the Tele Sales channel and the shop nearest to me. I had to actively follow up, and suggest to the Tele Person to check if there are any London stores where it’s still available (which turned out to be the case).

Very helpful , assured me I would be able to use my old speakers and showed me how to connect to the new player

Great personal service. They visited our home to install and fine tune a new Samsung HDTV and ARCAM home theatre system in our sitting room and basement gym to our complete satisfaction.

The mark of a good business is not that they fail, it’s how they recover. I specifically went to RS Chiswick as I knew they stocked a tv brand which is known to be simple for people suffering from confusion in old age. I was shown a model and sold it. However after I transported it to Scotland, unboxed, set it up I realised the model I had been didn’t have Freely, the aspect which I’d seen in the shop and makes it simple and usable without an aerial or sat dish. I called and the manager, Jim immediately set about finding a solution. He did and I had a replacement within 48 hours. It was more expensive and I still have the hassle of packing, transporting, returning and getting a refund but all in all, it was an honest if careless mistake that was rectified. RS is a great retailer. Marked down to 4 star because I feel they should have eaten the £80 price difference for the inconvenience and general hassle at what is an already very stressful time for me and my mother.

The guy I spoke to was really helpful and guided me through the options. I finally plumped for the 48 inch oled from LG, really good tv, in hindsight maybe I should have gone for the 55inch, but really pleased with the tv

I have been a Ritcher Sounds customer for many years. They are local to me and the staff are so knowledgable and pleasent. They have a way of describing and explaining things in a very understandable way,,with the minimum of jargon.

I was monitoring the price of the LG TV and was very pleased to find it at less than £1,000.

Ordering was straightforward and the TV delivered very promptly and at the time specified.

Excellent customer care. I visited numerous times to try out and test equipment. Staff were kind,polite and knowledgeable.

The store was due to open at 12 noon.Joe saw me looking through the window, asked if he could help? As a result a spent £4,900. His attitude was superb, a true ambassador for the company.

Simon was very helpful in identifying the speakers that are compatible with the hi-fi unit to which they were to be connected and helping me to choose the speakers, and another assistant was very patient in explaining to me over the phone how to change the hi-fi connectors so as to be able to use a plug-in connection rather than bare wire to connect the speaker cables.

Both Jim and Fred who assisted me in getting a new LG C5 oled were super knowledgeable and I received customer service that you thought didn’t exist anymore. No other choice should be considered for TV/hifi.
